Bad news and and totally awesome news!
Some of you have heard that SoCal and I won't be able to do camp this year. Both of us are at relatively new jobs and haven't had time to cycle our vacation time in to make it happen. I need to save mine for a personal event later in the year. It will be sad and Mediator, SoCal and I had a lot of fun. However given the recent criticisms and inability to make our schedule work, perhaps it is time for some fresh perspective and this might end up being a good thing for everyone.
This is the good news: There are tons of people who have the ability and eye to make the reports even better, if not at least just as good as before! I now Broncobuff will be coming down, Billy Clyde Puckett has helped us a lot before, and Broncosteven has offered his services. Any changes is this regard as being the OM's personal representative will have to be cleared with Taco. However I have no doubt that suitable replacements will be found. It's a great opportunity to meet players, coaches and watch free football! You can also get first peek at the rookies and how they are adapting to life in the NFL.
So here's to moving forward in making the Orange Mane a great place and a preseason to remember!

Thanks for pitching in fellas. We had some good times at camp a couple years ago. Too bad they banned RVs otherwise I'd probably still pop in there now and again.
Here's to the next crew! Watch out for Fred.
uh....crap
understandable though
Personally, though I don't comment much (a lot of sliiyness on the board at times so I stay away), I have always looked forward to you guys reporting from camp...as I am sure the majority has. Understanding the reports for what they are and never placing the mantle of all knowing on either of you I always got much more than I ever expected. It GREATLY helped fill the needs I have for Bronco news.
Both of you will be missed this year and I completely understand the job and personal reasons but feel its unfortunate that others criticizms have left thier mark. Im not sure what people expect from those who freely offer thier time to help keep us informed...but you guys did a great job.
Thanks.

Thanks for all the help guys. I would love to help with the photos again. But my baby girl will be about 2 months old at that time. So I won't be making camp this year either.

I would hope that your jobs are the main mitigating factor here and not any criticisms from the peanut gallery. Anyone who would criticize you guys for the work you have done at Dove Valley is a complete idiot.
OK, so who's stepping up to be the camp reporters? I'll have you know you will be walking into a REP palace! Thanks in advance,

Your services are going to be missed. I looked forward each morning to read your acounts of the days events. The photos were great and helped provide a daily fix for us football junkies.

Definetly sucks that you guys won't be there. Will you be there in 2009? I should be settled in at the S.O and would like to make a vacation out of it if you guys will be there.

I am hoping to secure an apartment in the area this weekend (Dove Valley Apartments to be specific). Assuming I have my place by camp, which if I don't I'll want to shoot myself, I'd be happy to report from camp daily.

Guys, your reports, with all their insight and detail, have often been the high point of my training camp days. Many thanks, and I will miss them. :notworthy

It's too early to say but I don't see why not. I should have a lot more vacation time reserved.
