What a lickbag. Seriously, some people wonder what a Flavor Clown is, if you do, just listen to that...he's the very definition of one.
I hope he sits out....a season without him on the TV would be great to say the least.

You guys are some dumb ****s.
This is kind of like Floyd Mayweather. Now, Chad Johnson is not the Floyd Mayweather of football, but same ordeal.
Chad Johnson is just an outspoken person, and thats how he was raised and that's his personality.
Bottom line is, he performs, he works hard, he stays OUT OF TROUBLE OFF THE FIELD. He trains hard and puts all his effort on the field. So what if he is outspoken? Ok he likes to talk... who CARES. He had very good points about the things he said.
I really wouldn't mind him in Denver, as a matter of fact, I'd WANT him here. Let him talk, it's not a big deal!
Fans treat the Broncos like their some children. These are grown men. Chad Johnson does everything you'd want in an elite player, he just TALKS more than the usual person.
Mayweather talks a whole lot of ****, more **** than you can think of...this dude is super arrogant too. But gues what? He's the #1 boxer in the world, he trains harder than any boxer, and he stays out of trouble. He's extremely smart with what he does.
During the Judah fight, when the fight broke out, Mayweather stayed calm and just moved away from the trouble.
Johnson is on the same boat with the Bengals. His whole team gets into legal trouble, and he stays away.
He loves what he does, and just talks a lot while doing it.
That's IT.
You idiots on here are rediculous.

I talked to a few people yesterday about the severity of Marshall's injury. NOT GOOD! I'd be suprised if he was A) ready to play this season and B) We don't draft a WR #1. Say hello to Devin Thomas Denver!

1. Marshall will be ready by the start of the season. The kid is tough and works hard. An injury to a single arm is much better than a major knee issue. I don't see why they couldn't put a complete cast on his lower arm and still let him participate (if the cut wasn't fully healed at the start of TC).
2. This might be better than you think for the development of the team. When Marshall comes back, we know what he is capable of. This gives Cutler more time to work with Colbert, Scheffler, Stokely, and whomever else we draft. Marshall will instantly jump back to #1 when he returns, but the time with the other receivers could be invaluable.
3. The Broncos organization might decide that picking up a guy like Bennett is even more important. That is another great thing for the team.
We don't need any of the so called "first round receivers." We can find some very good talent in the second through fourth rounds in this draft. Our major needs are on the O-line and D-line for the first round. But, I would rather see us take a BPA like Keith Rivers than a one year wonder like Devin Thomas.
If we want a receiver - trade down!

1. The cut will long be completely healed by TC. The only issue might be some more rehab to strengthen any weaknesses caused by the tissue damage.
2. Wtf... I'm assuming you meant Keith Rivers... in which case, I reiterate, wtf...

What a poor job of interviewing. Really, you know Chad isn't happy, you start with the Marvin Lewis comments, then - dead air. I wish I had a network job where I didn't have to prepare, that would be sweet.
What about getting Chad to talk clearly about the necessary "changes" he thinks the team needs to make? Can't we find out why he is so pissed, and stop just hammering on a "he said, she said" argument?
Poor interview.

Sorry, I mentioned my most hated player in the league. I guess i'm a little distracted today - thanks for bringing me back from the edge...
But, if you are talking about the long term success of the team, and paying out large dollars to first round picks. I think you will get better value from a first round LB, than a first round WR. I know our group seems set, but what if it isn't? I think we would do best to take O-line or D-line even if we can't trade down and have to stretch a little. My point wasn't that I like the Rivers pick, but I could justify that easier than I could justify a one year rising star receiver like Thomas. I don't want Rivers, it's just an argument.
OK. maybe I could throw this one out - we would be better taking a CB like Talib than a WR like Thomas. At least next year, he could scoot Bly out of the picture and save us some cash. It would be a much more sound approach than a WR like Thomas (in the first).

I'm not worried about BMarsh getting into playing shape. I think he'll be in great shape. I'm worried about him not catching any footballs for the next 4 or 5 months.

I disagree about him "acting like a punk" in this interview.
He was basically ambushed on TV with things his coach said about him in a negative manner. Personally....I would have been pretty pissed if I were him. He responded fine...in his own personality. He has performed year in and year out for his team and his coach talks smack about him?
He is one of the more clean cut receivers in the league as far as getting in trouble (- fines for silly celebrations). He responded fine in my opinion.

I'm not siding with Chad, but I have to agree with you here. There were two times where the ESPN guy could have ended the interview, instead of letting it go on and on. He let Chad get him off track, and seemed like he either ran out of questions, or forgot what to ask him. Chad was surprised that the guy ran out of questions.
As for Chad, I'm kind of on the fence with the guy. I don't have any type of hatred towards the guy, like many around here, but his act is getting a little worn out. I do find it interesting that everybody views Cincy as a train wreck, so when a guy does everything in his power to get out of there, he gets roasted. I guess Chad's way of getting out of there is to be a total ahole so they'll be forced to trade him.

He causes turmoil on his own team? He's speaking what he thinks. What he says about the Bengals IS TRUE. Look at how ****ed up the Bengals organization is. The guy is losing every year, he's suppose to stay calm? These athletes are in it to win.
Denver's organization is 10x better than the Bengals, that's why I'd love him here. If your organization is making moves, winning, or at least TRYING to win, as a player you can accept that. Broncos do something about losing, they try to make big changes.

guys like that belong in a class with Chris Henry, Mike Vick & Ray Carruth
give me a break, he's only trying to force the damn team to get better
their not doing a damn thing to improve & sitting pat after a terrible season in which they should have met expectations or better
+1. Outside of the fact he will cost too much to bring in (picks), I would love him on the Broncos.

that's mouth watering & no defense could cover it(Cutler might die from happiness)

chad was just on the radio here taking phone calls from Jets fans live on the air...pretty funny stuff
he said the same thing too when the host tried to wrap things up in the first part, before the phone calls..."that's it? there's no more questions?"
haha, i like the guy but i can understand why some woudl not want him in Denver...it's not our biggest hole right now.....but everyone is bitching about our draft slot and how we need to trade down
our first in 2008 for Johnson and a 4th

No way.
i thought so too at first...but then, think about it....at #12 we can't really get what we REALLy need or want...we can pick up the third best DT in the draft or a top notch tackle...
we pick up another pick in the later rounds AND a bonafide #1a for Marshall....Cutler would wet his pants
but we wouldn't want to see that.

Mayweather talks a whole lot of ****, more **** than you can think of...this dude is super arrogant too. But gues what? He's the #1 boxer in the world, he trains harder than any boxer, and he stays out of trouble. He's extremely smart with what he does.
He's a sh!tty ball room dancer. Nuff said.

Until of course when Ocho runs a wrong route and blames Jay for it. Hilarious!

I give a 7th for him with a contract with major stipulations. But, he is already quoted as saying he will never change so it would never work out in Denver.

The defenders of Chad Johnson are to be expected....there's a segment on this board who just ache and would do anything to have a mouthy, flamboyant showman on the team and extra "highlights" of his antics on ESPN. Recognize it for what it is and dismiss it as such.
..and no, him in a Broncos jersey wouldn't change my opinion of him one iota...it didn't change it for Sharpe's embarassing mouth or Portis's ultra-stupid wrestling belt.
Just say no to flavor clowns....if you want to watch a circus, become a Cowboys or Bengals fan.

Hahahaha there is only one thing to take from that interview and that is that Chad was baked out of his ****ing mind.
Seriously, listen to it again, he is high as hell.
If he came cheap I'd be down but he won't so whatever.

If we want a corner we go second round for Caison who doubles as a return man...I dont know why people are letting this kid fly under the raidar...I know hes not being looked at as first round talent but the kid won the award for best defensive back in the country and had multiple touchdowns in big games. He has the instincts, thats whats super important. Guys get faster in the NFL because of the rigerous conditioning...Caison will be a Pro Bowler Id put my money on it.
