The Infamous Sixth and Seventh-Round picks

What do we do with those picks the ones the Buccaneers and Texans traded away for Jake Plummer and Chris Myers ??? I'm clueless but who knows they might end up being picks for hidden gems in the Draft.Hopefully Shanny keeps his eye open for the next T.D or Shannon Sharpe :thumbsup: Does anybody have a list of late round draft prospects?

Those picks aren't nearly enough to get us back in the 3rd round. If we get back into the 3rd, it'll be because we move back in the 1st or 2nd, or move our extra 4th and 5ths. Hopefully the Broncos stay put and use those picks on special teams guys and depth at OL and DL.

I just don't think the Broncos will be able to find a partner to trade down with. So, they will have to take a 12 "value" and that is going to be a running back or Sweed......

No you were clear enough but that still won't happen. Why would a team trade out of the 3rd just for a 6th or 7th round pick? Doesn't happen.

The 6ths and 7ths may prove to be very valuable as the Broncos can, hopefully, net some good young talent on the cheap.

I think he is trying to say that we could package a 6th, 7th and 4th round pick to get a 3rd rounder. I could see this happening for a late 3rd, but I don't want us to do that unless somebody exceptional falls. I just think we have too many needs and I would like to add some depth to our team with those picks. I doubt Durant Brooks would be there in the sixth, but it would be nice if we could package our later picks to perhaps move up for him. Either way, there will be some nice project/backup players available in this deep draft class in the later rounds.

Maurice is a sad story. Really had great potential coming out of high school, but consistently received bad advice. He saw all of the wealth that his buddy LeBron had and just wasn't ready for it. I still can't believe that we picked him over Jacobs.
