Most players who are suspended 3 times in their final year don't get much NFL attention, but most players aren't 6'5", 338 pounds, and quick as a cat, either. Jason Shirley has top 10 tools, but the rest is up for debate. Watch him work on Draftguys TV.

What'd he do to get in trouble?

The bad news continues for the Bulldogs Athletic Department. Football player Jason Shirley is in trouble again.

Shirley was pulled over and cited for driving with a suspended license on Thursday November 15th. It happened just one day after Shirley was reinstated to the Fresno State Football team.

Shirley was previously suspended after a D.U.I. hit and run in October. Shirley already missed seven of Fresno State’s ten games due to suspensions. It is unknown if he will sit out more games

FRESNO, Calif. -- Jason Shirley was reinstated to Fresno State's football team on Wednesday night, nearly four weeks after the defensive lineman was suspended for the rest of his senior season following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Fresno State athletic director Thomas Boeh made the decision after an appeals process, when Shirley presented medical evidence that persuaded the school to allow him to finish his senior season. The Fresno State medical staff approved Shirley's return to the team Wednesday, Boeh said.

"These past five games that Jason has missed represent a sufficient penalty in this particular case," Boeh said. "We now look forward to working with Jason to help ensure he will earn his undergraduate degree and finish his collegiate football career."

Shirley has been suspended since Oct. 9, a day after the 330-pound tackle was arrested after crashing his car into an apartment building. Police said Shirley left the scene of the accident, and had a blood-alcohol level of 0.12, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Shirley already served a two-game suspension in September for undisclosed conduct detrimental to the team. He then played in three games before his arrest, recording four tackles for losses, two sacks and a forced fumble.

The Bulldogs (6-4, 5-2 WAC) are off this week before hosting Kansas State on Nov. 24.

Awesome! He reminded us of Walter Thomas as well. From the front page of the New York Times, to Saints camp for 15 minutes. LOL

Last I heard Thomas was "on the run"

Don't get me wrong, his character seems pretty bad but if he's sitting there in the 6th round, I'm taking him...
