Which side do you sit on?

Here are some quips from his interview with Michael Irvin:

Jones was equal parts contrite and defiant in discussing his six arrests since being drafted three years ago, taking responsibility for "bad decisions" while disputing details of the police reports.

He spoke about the Titans in the past tense, said he wanted to be a Cowboy and expressed confidence that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell would reinstate him.

"I'm not sitting here telling you I don't own up to mistakes I've made," Jones said. "I accept everything, the punishment, everything that comes along with the bad decisions and bad choices I've made.

"In the end, I just pray to God I get a second chance."

Maybe the Cowboys want him, but i don't want him in the league.

He was on his way to being a hell of an NFL player, but there is no way they should let him back in. He got a man paralyzed. Six arrests in three years? I hope Goodell never reinstates him.

In addition, while he hasn't "gotten in trouble" in the past six months or so, he still being spotted at strip clubs often and hasn't changed his behavior at all.

He's not a Patriot so I think Goodell will continue to be rough with him and keep him suspended.

No, he should not be reinstated. When you are told to stay out of trouble 5 prior times and you still cannot resist getting into altercations or remaining in bad elements than you deserve to be kicked out. Lets hope for his future sake that he learned something in college.

little killed someone and then got another DUI on top of that. I'm not saying Pacman will ever be a good person but **** let the guy work. I'm guessing he didn't learn anything in college to help him make it in the real world.

Absolutely. I'm in favor of anything that screws Jerry Jones and the Crapboys, and having this jackass here would be fantastic. He can hang out with Tank Johnson and Michael "Platemaker" Irvine...instant locker room cancer. Toss in TO who is probably ready to implode by now and the meltdown would be epic.

I cant say never because there is still a chance he might figure it out and clean up his act. Untill he does though I would have to say no and his name is still in the news enough to say no.

In your profession it has to be your only vote. Because you guys have to hope criminals one day straighten it out. It does happen just not that often.

There are enough idiots in the NFL.

There are two new leagues starting up next year that'll need aholes...excuse me, fun loving, free spirited stars to help promote them. Maybe they can give him his second chance. Maybe the AFL.....

In fortune 500 company, a guy like this is tossed on his but early and never let in the door again.

The NFL should begin treating these guys like the criminals they are.

Let them earn their way to respectability the same way every other criminal must.

This man had a winning lotto ticket and blew it as far as I'm concerned. He has had more than a few chances to straighten himself out and has decided to go the other way. I think most people are very forgiving, but as our wise president once said, "fool me once, shame on ... shame on you. It fool me. We can't get fooled again."

This thug should be in prison. So should Leonard Little and Ray Lewis. None of the above would be in the league if it were up to me. But its not... and the NFL fans will never be in short supply of appologists.

Pac is just too stupid to understand why he was suspended. Listen to any of his interviews. "Its really tough sitting out when you know you are better than 90% of those other guys." Yeah, that probably sucks.... but not as bad as being permanently bedridden with a colostomy and chronic bed sores. Maybe you should spend your time candystriping a long-term acute care center.... one filled with para and quadraplegics... or maybe just stay out of the stip club and show some remorse.

I know a lot of people use Little as an excuse but they forget that Little's transgressions were done before Goodell took over as Commish. If he was too go back and enforce the rules with past transgressions a lot of players would be out of work right now. Pac Man has continuely defied Goodell's advice and warnings and kept doing the things that got him suspended in the first place. He has shown he will never learn and should be banned permanantly.

My only problem with this is the fact that there isn't a limit on the punishment. Seems to me that Goodell is trying to change the game, not only image on the field, but money in the owners pockets...all the while driving ticket prices up. He will in the end the regular guy will be out of the deal because they can't affor it.

I say no. I really like the direction that Roger Goddell is taking this league. Pacman is a thug and has had one too many chances to play in the NFL. Too many coaches (Shanahan included) have been blinded by talent and look the other way when a persons character is just as important. We do not need anymore thugs in the NFL. Sorry, Pacman time to go back to wrestling.

Pacman Jones didn't do anything wrong as far as anyone is concerned.

 ok.

On July 13, 2005 Jones was arrested on charges of assault and felony vandalism stemming from a nightclub altercation. On September 5, 2005 Jones was a guest at the annual Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. After a loud verbal tantrum when he was told to wait in line for his vehicle later that evening, Jones was counseled by the police. He also refused to pay for any valet services used that evening, because he didn't have money at the time. On October 2005, in a petition filed by the State of West Virginia, it was alleged that Jones had not made regular and sufficient contact with his probation officer and that he did not report his July arrest in Nashville in a timely fashion. The court ordered the probation extended for a period of 90 days, although the state requested it to be extended one year.

On August 25, 2006, Jones was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after claiming that a woman stole his wallet. She claimed that she did not steal anything and Jones spat on her. Police officers said they ordered Jones to leave several times, but he refused, continuing to shout profanities at the woman. A judge granted him six months probation on the conditions that he stays out of further trouble and away from the nightclub.[23] On October 26, 2006. Jones was cited for misdemeanor assault for allegedly spitting in the face of a female student from Tennessee State University during a private party at Club Mystic, a Nashville nightclub. He was suspended by the Titans for one game and was scheduled to be booked on the charge on November 17, 2006.

Jones also is set to appear in a Fayetteville, Georgia court in 2007 for his February 2006 incident on subpoenas for felony and misdemeanor obstruction of justice charges for an incident outside a home. The charges of marijuana possession in the same state were dismissed.[24]

On June 18, 2007 Jones was sought by police for questioning after a shooting at an Atlanta strip club allegedly involved members of his entourage. According to police at the scene, Jones was not present during the shooting, and is not being charged.[25]

On May 7, 2007, Jones was stopped at 12:45 a.m. on Interstate 65 heading into downtown after an officer clocked him on radar at 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. Jones was driving his red 2004 Cadillac XLT he bought at police auction last fall. Police seized the Cadillac last spring in a drug bust. The car was not registered to Jones then, but he told a local TV reporter he had loaned the Cadillac to someone for a music video. Police called the man who had the car the main target of their investigation.

Even with all this Goodell was going to hear him out in which a few hours later Jones went back to yet another nightclub and got into trouble then. Henry's no saint, but Jones does not belong in the league period.

The only problem is that if the NFL throws him out, the cuffs will be off (so to speak) and he'll really unleash his "talents" on some poor community.

But I answered, no. Playing in the NFL is a privilege that he has already crapped on enough.

Great so they let one idiot back in and therefor should let Pacman back in. NO, you should complain that they both should be out. I'm tired of these idiots making headlines for all of the wrong reasons. Hopefully Roger continues with his current approach of not tolerating this crap.

Did anyone catch his interview on Michael Irvin's show? BTW, the fact that he would even appear on that show should tell you he's still a dumbass.

Anyway, the answers he gave tells me that he still doesn't get it. And he probably never will get it. The guy just can't admit his stupid behavior without still trying do defend it at the same time.

Good point.

I'm all about 2nd chances and believe even the worst of people have good in them, but they need to show they are ready to learn from their mistakes and deserve a 2nd chance...and to date Pacman hasn't done that.

I continue to hold out hope that he will change, not only for himself but for his family who is also being hurt by this, but I'm not holding my breath.

I for one am sick of Goodell's ****.

Pacman has done his time. Goodell should be the first one to say it doesn't matter what Pacman has done, his criminal record should be burned, its old news and has already been looked over......wouldn't want it to wind up in the wrong hands :tinfoilha

On a more serious note, an nfl team should be able to hire anybody they want to play football for them. If I own a business, I should be able to hire whoever the hell I want (at my own risk), the government shouldn't be able to say no u can't hire him.

Inconsistancy is THE problem in the NFL IMHO. Whether it's something like this or the handing out and enforcement of penalities, the league has never been consistant on it's own rules......never.

Adam "Pacman" Jones is confident he's through with the Tennessee Titans -- and he has already chosen a number he'd like to wear with the Cowboys if he lands in Dallas.

Jones
"I really think my days being a Titan [are] over with," Jones said Saturday, according to The (Nashville) Tennessean. "I enjoyed my stay here. I just think my days as a Titan [are] over with."

Jones, appearing at a charity basketball game at Tennessee State University with rosters made up of current and former Titans, signed his name and the number 21 on a football that was being auctioned off for charity instead of the number 32 he wore in two seasons in Nashville.

Asked if that was wishful thinking, he said "that's your idea," according to the report. But Jones also said he believed Deion Sanders, whom he considers a friend, would let him wear the No. 21 that "Prime Time" wore with the Cowboys, according to the report.

Pacman On Dubious History

In his appearance Monday on The Michael Irvin Show on 103.3 FM ESPN in Dallas, Pacman Jones, right, spoke about his childhood, the Las Vegas incident, and the measures he's taking to try and better his life. Listen
Jones, who is still serving an indefinite suspension from the NFL after several run-ins with the law, is reportedly the subject of trade talks between the Titans and Cowboys. Last week, SI.com reported the Cowboys had offered the Titans an additional player after a proposed trade of a seventh-round draft pick for Jones was turned down. "The kid was the sixth pick in the [2005] draft and we need to get something of value in return," an unnamed Titans official told the Web site.

Asked Saturday what his value should be in the trade market, Jones said "I would say a first-round pick if I had to say something, but that ain't up to me," The Tennessean reported.

Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair, who was one of the coaches at the charity basketball game, said he's hopeful for Jones' future, according to the report.

"He understands his goal now in life is to get back on the football field," McNair said, according to the report. "He's got great talent, his personality is changing to the best and that's what you have to do.

"Sometimes you have to go through some trials and tribulations, some bad things to get the taste of being left behind. And I think he's felt that. I think he's willing to come back and work hard and get back on the football field."

Jones has stated his willingness to renegotiate the contract and his agent, Manny Arora, met with Cowboys officials last week.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher has said the team has given Jones permission to look for a new team.

"We've given them permission to look for a new home and whatever happens after that happens," Fisher told The Tennessean last week. "He's entitled to his opinion. I know he has enjoyed the time that he has spent here on the football field. But because of his choices and such off the field, he's created a situation where he's going to have to look elsewhere."

Anyone still think this assclown should still play. jeeeeez
