Explain to me why the Pats would give up the equivalent value of a late 3rd rounder to make that happen.

I could conceivably see a trade with NE happening, though not that particularly scenario. They lost Samuels in FA, so I could see Foxworth being used to move up. It would probably take more than just him to get up to #7, though, depending on what value they place on him. If they give him 3rd round value, we'd probably have to toss in a 4th at least.

There is a very good chance none of those guys will be there at 7 then who do you target, especially since now you just traded a high second rounder where we could have drafted a Moore, Laws, Sims type DT. If Ellis or Dorcey
fall out of the top 7 I could see us making a swap with Baltimore since their need is really QB and that could be had later but I think we are better trading down and stocking up on 2 or 3 young DTs like Moore and Laws.

Yea i was just thinking the same thing and was going to make a Thread about it maybe we should trade up because of the money issues but if we draft a top 10 or even 5 pick we would have to give up big bucks anyway so ???
