Ok...I'm sure this has been done at one point or another but it's time to give props to the scaley, furry, and feathery members of your family. What kind of pets do you have and do you have any interesting stories about their behavior or memories that make them who they are.
The wife and I have 5 cats (Morris, Duncan, Casey, Noodle, and Rori) with 3 kittens we are fostering at the moment (we volunteer with a local animal shelter) and one gecko (who sadly doesn't save us money on our car insurance). They are all insane and there is not a day that goes by where I don't stop and laugh at their behavior.
So you're next....tell me who you have...

A 3 year old female English Mastiff and an almost 8 year old male Boxer.
Funny story about the English Mastiff: she was pregnant when we adopted her back in September (though we didn't know it) and gave birth to 9 purebred puppies two weeks later. 8 survived and are now living with family and friends......luckily for us. I can't even imagine trying to feed all those dogs. They're almost 6 months old now and all weigh between 75 and 85 pounds.
Talk about an absolute bloodbath. My first child was natural; my second was c section.....and neither held a candle to the puppies' birth. When I first heard about the movie "There Will Be Blood", I thought someone made a movie about that night.

3 cats. Unfortuantely, my oldest Bastice has cancer and will not live much longer which saddens me deeply. The other two are 1 and 2 year olds with Azrael and Abigail.

We in the past months had to put down our purebred ragdoll when we found a mass the size of a softball in her stomach so I understand what you are going through right now.

Ive really been into birds most of my life, ive had dogs as well and love them too.
Because of mother mostly, she has had birds since she was five.
I like the cockatiel, one of the most loyal pets there is.

Yea, she is still moving around ok and very loveable but she has lost a lot of weight in the last 4 months because she cant keep solid food down. Its like i have this thing inside of me wanting to put her down because i dont like to see her suffer. But she still is affectionate and loving so i keep holding off. I just dont know when is the right time. It might be too much for me to handle to have her put down so i may just let her die naturally so as long as she isnt suffering traumatically.
