The Eagles announced on Thursday that they have released veteran weakside linebacker Takeo Spikes.

Guess his stock has gone down a lot since his time in Buffalo.
He had rotator cup surgery last season. Not sure if he's ready to play.

He came into the league in 98 or 97, so he's getting up there in years.

He has had a lot of injuries too. I think he is probably all reputation at this point.

He had an okay season last year but if DJ's moving back to WILL, we have our guy on the weakside.

I hope this is sarcasm.
From 01-04, he had 443 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and 8 INTs. He was definitely one of the best LBs in the league in his prime.....which wasn't that long ago and was only shortened because of injuries.

id take him if we signed him to a 1 or 2 yr deal. it will give the younger guys a chance to learn from a veteran.

Every team he has left has gotten better when he left. He has a bad attitude. Ya, he makes some plays, but doesn't help the team win. I stand by my statement. Loser!
