Russel has been released and Al davis is making the ex-charger/ex-cowboy Ryan Leaf his strating QB. The contract terms reported by chris M is 6 yrs for 90 mill with 40 mill guarantee.. which is more than what any other QB got.
They also released other QB's on there roster to make room for Akili Smith ex-bengal and oregon duck as there Backup. The contract terms are 3 yrs for 30 mill with 15 mill gurantees
