That's a pretty cool game. I don't have it but a buddy does for 360. I've only played it a little but it's pretty neat.

Well, i bought the PS3 so me and the girlfriend can watch Blurays, we love it.

Most women don't like gaming, but she has been wanting one for a long time.

I love playing games on the PS3, she loves the Wii.

Some of the games are fun, plus it gives me exercise.

I loved the Wii when I had one. Absolutely loved it. My problem was, 99% of the time, I play games alone. And as such, I need competition and a good on-line service. Nintendo does not have that.

Hence, I went for the 360 and X-Box Live.

Error messages getting you down? Don’t worry, we’re aware and we’ve made Microsoft aware as well. It seems that the rush of people attempting to download the new Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4 that went live today at 6:30 AM has caused some users currently attempting to download the maps to receive the message:

“Can’t retrieve information from XBOX LIVE, please try again later. Status Code: 8015000a”

As I said, no need to worry, yo **** ain’t broke. There’s just a large number of people hitting Xbox Live to download the new maps. You’ll probably be able to wait it out as more people get the maps today, but just in case we’ve made sure to let our friends at Microsoft know and as always they’re already addressing.

*UPDATE*

For those of you attempting to redeem tokens while Xbox Live Marketplace is down, it will say that your code is ‘INVALID’ even though it may not be. Don’t worry though, this doesn’t mean your screwed, it just means Xbox Live Marketplace is down. If it lets you start the download, and then says your code is already used, then you will still be able to re-download the Map Packs for free when Xbox Live Marketplace is back up.

If I get word that Marketplace is back up and running I’ll be sure to pass it on so you guys can re-download or redeem your token as needed

I’ve been attempting to download the maps via Token on another Xbox just so I can keep tabs on how it’s going. I kept getting Invalid Code w/ the option to Try Again. Just kept hitting Try Again until it eventually went through. Now downloading at 15% finished. So keep trying if you get invalid code, it’ll go through eventually.

Maps are terrible. Most people try to veto them when they pop up.

Creek is absolutely atrocious. And Chinatown is retarded, I won't play that map ever again.

I'm pissed they stopped having the "Variety <gametype>" so now those dogshi+ maps get put into the regular rotation.

Update on MLB played a regular game and it is a very solid baseball game the players look awesome and the gameplay is smooth. My only complaint so far is that it is in 720p and not in 1080p. After all it is a Sony game they should take advantage of the higher resolution.

It depends on what you like to do. Creek is good for sniping. Chinatown is an urban battle and broadcast is O.K. Fast paced most of the time. Overall, the maps aren't bad. Just new places to kill people.

I would take dogcow's opinion with a grain of salt. He has already shown his negative attitude toward the game.

Prestige is a tough fight at 24 I have to earn about 3k ex to level. The luck in this game is insane I spawned twice tonight in the middle of a air strike. Very weird how you can go 30 and 5 then turn around and go 5 and 30 (not exact numbers but its strange).

Gave up on my first player in MLB 08 so I started a new one a first baseman for the Rockies organization. So far the game has been pretty fun with the RTTS. The player models are awesome, but there are some bugs in the announcing but overall I would give the game a 8.5.

The new maps are growing on me a little. I just camp in the yellow room on china town lol. Creek still BLOWS though. Broadcast is OK.

On a side note. On Madden now, when champ bailey goes deep for me and catches 80 yard touchdowns and people cry about it, I just tell them "Think of him as Eddie Royal"
