Chris Crocker is the guy ... a natural strong safety, and a big hitter. Never a single season without sacks and picks since he was a rookie. Not as big as Sam Brandon, more similar to Kenoy Kennedy. Most important is he's Bowlen-cheap - veteran minimum.

It scares me to think Bowlen's going "cheap" on us. I hope by the end of the season we can say he was "cap-smart".

First off, first post here. Hey guys, for those of you who know me I hang around broncomania a bit. I am just a bandwagon fan :bandwagon jumping on at a terrible time? No I am kidding, I just like the smilies here. Anyways figured I needed a little change of scenery, I am a little frustrated over there.

Secondly I am glad we didn't sign Knight. We got our slow safety in Lynch. I am not sure what we need to do to address the position, I wish we could find a gem late in the draft to groom under Lynch... but with this years class it doesn't seem like a viable option. Heres to hoping Abdullah turns out to be the stud he may be capable of.:pray:

I think we should sign a veteran...I.E. McCree/Crocker, and draft a guy on the 2nd day. Hamza+Lynch+Draftee+Crocker/McCree is a safety corps I can like.
