I agree with the shrimp idea. I'm thinking fried shrimp, a big steak, some fried chicken, country ham, mashed potatoes, and a key to my cell.

Taking this seriously, if I was guilty, I probably wouldn't have the stomach to eat a last meal. If I was not guilty, I hope I would have the savoir-faire, the panache, the balls to order a last meal for the guards, the warden, and the governor so they would remember the man they put to death. The priest I'd probably kick his ass.

Dang, Dagmar, good thread, gives one pause to think.

I'd stuff myself with Mexican food so hopefully it would come exploding out and overwhelm my execution diaper when they flip the switch. Then those asshole correctional officers would have to spend all afternoon cleaning up my ****.

On the Louis Xlll stuff. At a job I had before a bartender busted a bottle of that stuff because he was playing Cocktail with it and tossing it around. Needless to say he got fired and we lost the good stuff.

A King Filet (14 oz of aged beef perfection) cooked rare from a tiny steakhouse called Svilar's in Hudson, WY, Jack Daniel's on the rocks, perfectly ripe cantaloupe, and my Mom's cold apple pie baked two days earlier and kept in the refrigerator w/ a big scoop of Breyer's french vanilla ice cream.

After that's all gone I'll finish off the fifth of Jack and call 'er good.

If its lethal injection...some aspergus, lots of garlic, bucket of pintos, heavy microbrew, and cabbage, because just maybe, if I turn the room in to the gas chamber they may declare its cruel and unusual punishment. My wife says thats true. If it already is death by the gas chamber...a steak. If its death by the electric chair...forget the food; can listen to Metallica's Ride the Lightening instead? Give my brother a Kobe Steak on me...let someone have lasting memories.

If anyone ever goes so low as to get there...make sure you yell 'Go Broncos' so the news of it hits this board and we know about it okay. We would all be very sad to hear that you were 'fried' and we weren't there to discuss it.

Fired? I would of kicked his butt. At $1500 a bottle, you just don't play around.
I had a chance to drink it at a friends open house.... I wouldn't say its worth $1500, but he is my new best friend.

A DIET COKE? Are you being serious? Do you really like that stuff? Afterall, you dont have to worry about the calories, my friend. You have same great suggestions in there, and washing it down with diet coke, IMHO, is like asking the chef to rub dirt on his creation.

As for me.. The nachos sound good. I am co-opting that from your list. Someone else had hot wings, and I am taking that, too. But they have to be good ones. Last time I was in Vegas, they had an ad for a new restaurant and the picture was a chef holding up a Lobster about the size of his torso. I'll take that. I also want some good Northern NM food... enchildas, I think.

And to drink... how about some single malt scotch. Maybe a milk shake? But cant mix em!
