They did the same thing 2 years ago and he was released and then resigned.

this time might be different
The Rams asked Bruce to take a pay cut and he refused. The Rams have got themselves into awful cap condition with poor free agent signings the past few seasons, and now have to cut their most tenured player. Bruce has plenty left to in the tank, and will instantly be on San Francisco's radar. If the Rams are smart, they'll make him another contract offer.

This guy would be perfect next to Marshall.

It sucks to see longtime franchise greats go to another team towards the end of their career. I still refuse to believe Atwater was ever a Jet.

Just say no to Bruce! Not a red zone threat and no longer a speedster.

"Bring him in, This guy is guaranteed to rush for 2k yards in our system"
The above is my boilerplate response to all Cut players in the future.

If Rod wasn't cool enough to go on reserved/retired that would have been him too. Thank you Rod for not making me hate the Broncos front office.

When i was 12 and living in Hong Kong a family friend that knew Bruce told him I was a big fan (I wanted to a WR when I was a little guy).
Bruce autographed a football saying "To Chris, My #1 Hong Kong Fan! - signed Isaac Bruce".
Never forget that (I'm 23 now)...class guy. Great player. Would love to see him in a Broncos uniform.

I'm not sure he's the cure for what ails us, as much as I think he could still be productive. I think Stokley serves the role that Bruce would in a given system at this stage. (#3 type receiver.)
We just need one more big fast WR to line up outside and we're set.

Bruce is a gamer but I agree that he's probably not our best option for a 2nd wr.
Devin Thomas would fit that need nicely though... could he last until our pick in the 2nd round?
