Now I'm hearing that Marcus Stroud and Corey Williams can be had in a trade now...in addition to the ones already available via trade and some free agents...

So if Shanny is able to acquire a DT at a price you feel is reasonable, which DT would you want us to get?

This is a hard poll without a price tag attached. It all comes down to value. I say we let these guys hit the market, or trading Walker, Gold, or Foxy would be fine.

However, everyone seems to be asking for a second round pick. We have too many needs to do that. We need young talent. Let these guys all hit the market first, stop screwing with the draft.

I would like to keep all our picks through the fourth round. I'm ok with trading down in the first or second to pick up a third. But, let these guys hit the market, or trade players, but not picks (above round 5).

If the price is right I'd make a run at Stroud and or Jenkins. Both have pro bowl potential.

Shawn Rogers is the best of the group. For someone who takes plays off, he has better stats than anyone.

Stroud is not the player he used to be. Even with Henderson next to him, his stats aren't all the good. Anyways, he has been injured as late. With that said, he is better than any of our DT's.

Jenkins is similar to Stroud.

We should go for to youth movement in Robertson and Williams

Hopefully the newly found glut of available DTs will drive the price down. I voted Shaun Rogers but any one veteran of this group would be fantastic. I'm still hoping we draft a young DT in the mold of Laws or Bryant this year. It would give us a nice rotation with Thomas and finally stabilize a huge hole. I think a youth movement along with a solid veteran ProBowl calibre guy is my dream.

Rod Coleman would not cost us a draft pick or for that matter Anthony McFarland . then draft Laws with the 2nd round pick .

Coming off a Super Bowl in which the Giants put on a D-Line exhibition for the rest of the league against the NFL's top O-Line, what does it say that all of these guys teams are willing to let them go?

Robertson has the most upside. As far as street FAs I wouldn't mind bringing Booger in if he has healed from his injury.

he may be worth a look...

i watched him in Tampa and he is the reason Warren Sapp was suddenly expendable...

he doesn't stay healthy is his biggest problem...

but when healthy he's pretty good...not great but good...

he was Tampa's best interior lineman for two straight years...
