Is this finally the year Denver addressed the need at FB? I would love nothing more than for Shanny to draft the next Howard Griffith. How much longer will he ignore this position with guys like Sapp, Johnson and Anderson.
If we really want to improve our run game, we can't just look at the oline.

Good idea, but i feel Shanny will never draft a FB.

as mentioned before, The Next Howard Griffith is what Shanny was probably looking for with Sapp and Anderson. Griffith was a converted HB.

I'm just freakin happy this isn't another "Hey guys, I got an idea, lets take a RB in the 1st" or "Lets trade down!" Or "Lets trade for so and so!"
This is actually logical.

I think Hillis would be a good pick-up... he's big, strong, can catch, and shows good football instincts.

I agree, I've been saying for a few years that I want a legit hard nose full back that can help pave the way and open holes for Henry and Young.

Exactly, I'm tired of Shanny forcing rb's to play fb because they aren't good enough to tote the rock. Just imagine what a Howard Griffith type guy could do for our offense right now
