Tony K is crap I complained on espn.com several times till about mid season I told them I wouldnt watch MNF ever again till he is gone (which is true except the broncos game). I will never forgive a football announcer that ask's on air, what is a silent count.

Unless you are a really good play-by-play guy (i.e. Al Micheals), you need to actually know something about football to be in the annoucing booth. I'm tired of all these "fans" (Dennis Miller, Tony K, etc) getting into the booth. They don't offer anytihng to the team, and their schtick is annoying. When I'm watching a football game, I want, you know, football talk inbetween plays, not some celeb interview.

As far as Sean, well, I didn't think he was horrible, but can't say I was a fan either. ESPN is just too horrible to really even care. Getting all these ex-players on all the networks (not just espn) is pretty stupid in my mind. I can't really stand Marshall Faulk or Rod Woodson on NFL Network either.

They need intelligent football guys. I really like Jaws, Clayton, Mooch, Mort, Vermiel, etc. Those guys actually have some insight to the game and can present their views without totally alienating 99% of their viewers.
