NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Lane Kiffin's job as head coach of the Raiders could still be in flux.

Kiffin has reportedly been removed from all free agency, draft, and coaching staff related decisions. Schefter says the "stalemate" or "staredown" between Kiffin and owner Al Davis has continued. As for Kiffin being fired later this offseason, nothing should be a surprise in Raiders land.

There should be some kind of force mejeure rule in the NFL that when an owner crosses the bright line between reality and senility, that the club's larger decisions must be run past some independent board of regulators. How many coaches have they had in the last few years? The sad part is that things will only get worse.

Kiffin should be the Broncos' Receivers' Coach. I think he is on the way to beiing a pretty fair coach......

no way he accepts a job as a recievers coach...he did a good job with the raiders last year, all things considered.

At this rate he'll build up enough hate to leave and coach the Chargers to two super bowls.

Does this not constitute constructive dismissal? If yes, could Kiffin not force the old man to pay him out?

Crazy AL just loves starting seasons with friction in the ranks.
