I would have liked to see Oakland last, but oh well.

The victory by the Falcons in the coin toss with the Raiders automatically gave the Raiders the No. 4 and the Chiefs the No. 5 selection, since the Raiders finished fourth in the AFC West via the application of tiebreakers. If the Raiders had won the flip with the Falcons, there would have been another flip between the Falcons and Chiefs for the No. 4 spot.

For those of you keeping score at home, Atlanta could have potentially lost 500 points on the chart going from 3rd to 5th using a 50 cent piece. Talk about loosing value.

In a minor this way impacts us. These 3 teams rotate picks - so we will get the 3rd pick of the 5th round, the best we could do. But at that point not a huge difference between the 3rd and 5th picks of the 5th round.
I think Oakland was the winner here. The cost for a 4th pick is quite a bit less than the 3rd - and If Ryan is picked in the top 3 (I expect Atlanta to take him), they will still get one of their top players. I'd guess they will take Ellis or Dorsey.

Looks like I was wwwwwrong.
Atlanta and oakland will swap picks each round (by what I've read) and KC will pick 5th each round. Means we get pick # 4 in the 5th, I think...
