It'll be interesting to see what the State Department does, but I don't really think they can do anything about. The Serbs need to give it up though. They can't stop Kosovo from being independent short of massive bloodshed.

I do not. We should support them if they choose to be independent. We are not the only country that will recognize them as independent.

All of the EU also recognizes Kosovo as an independent country.

Kosovo has been struggling for decades against the oppression of the Serbs. They finally declared independence. **** the Serbs.

We had already abandoned the embassy anticipating violent protests. I'm not sure what Bush did wrong here.
