View Full Version : I had a rough night last night

got a call around 2 pm .Spider we need you to go to Leighter Wy , pick up a load out on Hanging Woman road ..... I said ok I am on my way , got out there ( 25 miles from pavement crossed over to montana and back into wyoming ) got loaded headed out , everything going good ...... 30 miles from buffalo Wy ..... Bang truck dies , snowing , wind blowing and I dont have any power .... Froze most of the night , finaly got my truck started at 4:30 in the morning , got back up to buffalo , took my altenator off and tried to fix the brushes ..... got me home , but I have had no sleep , just now got the feeling back in my toes .....

Wow, Spider... that totally sucks. I'm glad you got the truck started again and made it home OK.

When I saw the thread title I thought maybe you ended up in jail for beating up some raider fans.
Warm them toes dude. I feel your pain. I've worked on equipment in freezing temperatures it's very difficult and dangerous at that.

Warm them toes dude. I feel your pain. I've worked on equipment in freezing temperatures it's very difficult and dangerous at that.
That wouldnt be a bad night , that would be heaven ..... No kids screaming , staying warm , 3 hot meals , a bed ........ No downside at all ;D

Down by Lehi, it took 4 hours to go 13 miles, 150 people had to spend the night at a Maverick there and school children spent the night at school as the bus couldn't get them home and their parents couldn't get to them because of the weather much like what you had in Wyoming. Nasty weather

I guess parts of Utah got abused ..... some of Wyoming got hammered ..
