Kidd to the Mavs.

This is the official Angry Llama maverick wack off thread. This will probably get him excited and out of NBA discussion exile since the big choke job last year. I expect him to come out and have a new favorite athlete in Jason Kidd for the next couple weeks.

I think the celtics will have something to say about that.

Greatest team to choke the series away ever. This basically tells me that trading away Nash was a huge mistake and this is an attempt to fix that.

Wow, huge pickup for the Mavs.

But they still wont win it this year.

The West just keeps on heating up.

Dirk, Kidd, JHow will be deadly.

they are set to win now, harris is gonna be a top 5-10 pg soon. terrible deal if you ask me, as a nugget fan im happy about this. they traded away their bench and future all star PG for an old PG who is on the downside of his carrer. hes not even shooting 40% from the floor.

I don't know man, JKidd still pulls triple doubles. The guy can play, and he's not a scorer, he can leave that to Dirk and J5.

They ****ed their depth and they have no bigs. They think Kidd will bring them toughness - Lord knows no team in professional sports lacks toughness more than Dallas - but it's too little, too late.

Total win now move by Dallas. They've already shown they choke like rope dick dogs whenever they're faced with a pressure situation, so now they issue an unretractable WIN NOW edict to the entire organization. The panic is palpable.

This will all end in tears.

Who would move to a ****hole like Dallas if they had any other choice?

Cats and dogs, living together, mass hysteria.

Goooo Devean George.

Meanwhile the Nugz stand pat and lose in Orlando. If George blocking the deal stands, the Nugz should give Thorn one more call just to see what might appease him.

I think the Pistons, Lakers, Spurs and Jazz will all have something to say about it.

I have to disagree with the mavs becoming the Champs.Like it or not Lakers are going to win it all with the best front line in the NBA Plus Kobe. The key to winning a NBA title is points in the panit.

I'm so on the fence about that.

I really like Najera & Kleiza.

But I also think the Nuggets are kind of soft at a lot of times, and Artest would bring some toughness. Plus he can lock some people down on D.

Ok heres the thing on the nuggets the A.I trade was a bad trade..they should of got Kid not A.I...It would of made the team way better with Kid....

Llama ran to sears to get a new diehard battery for his inflatable Dirk doll, only to get deflated by the Devan George "Just say no" news.

Dallas is to small and weak to compete in the new Western Conference.

I don't know if it would matter. Kidd is more of a distributor, which AI is not, but the Nuggs need a low post presence to move forward either way. Let's go Nene getting healthy!

Guys, I know the Western Conference is stack and the Celtics and Pistons are DAMN GOOD TEAMS.

There are about 8-10 teams that have a legitimate chance to win the title, but someone will have to beat the Spurs 4 TIMES in a series.

There's a really, really good chance that will happen, but please don't forget about the defending champs.

I know I'm not.

As long as they get healthy, they'll be there.

It's just sad that the Eastern Conference playoffs won't be good until the ECF. West will be good from the initial tip.

Hours after vetoing the trade that would bring Jason Kidd to Dallas, Devean George missed all 11 of his shots after starting for the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Wow. George said afterwards that his decision to block the trade is not final, and that he wants to have time to talk to agent Mark Bartelstein, who will explain to George exactly what he'd be giving up by waiving his no-trade rights. "He wants to wait until I talk to him and he explains everything to me about what's going on before we do anything," George said. "I'm the bad guy that's holding things up." Well, he could lessen the blow slightly by hitting some shots when he gets a rare start for Dallas.

Even though I'm a Spurs fan, that was funny.

Honestly, it's good to see the Lakers good again, I've missed the Spurs-Lakers battles from earlier this century.
