Ok, so I totally stole this question from tonight's Fox newscast, but wanted to get some thoughts on which Denver team has the best big three. Interpretation of the question is up to the voter I suppose.

well considering 2 are all star starters and the 3rd got snubbed yet again but is one of top defenders every year...gotta be Nuggets.

Nuggets. Two all-stars and the defending league defensive MVP.

Looks like the Nuggs need a 3rd All Star to compete in the Western conference.

Usually when the Nuggets inconsistently limpdick their way through some games like this, they are 10 games out of the top spot.

Unreal that the 7th seed in the West is only 4 1/2 games from the number 1 seed.

But tonight will likely show what inner fire the Nuggets lack. An incredible win in Cleveland, followed by a limp dick sigh of relief win in Miami, likely to be followed with a 20 point blowout loss to the Magic.

Hope I'm wrong.

Avs. In a normal year Sakic and Smyth make the All-Star game, and Stastny was an all star this year. Damn appendix.

And yet Avs are still only 3 points out of 1st in division....where would nuggets be if they lost any or 2 of the 3 mentoned???

What's this, no love for the Rox?! Holliday should have been MVP but got ****ed by the media, Tulo should have been the ROY again, ****ing media and Helton is the John Elway of the Rockies!

However, with that said, am I the only one on here who just got a chubby from seeing the talent that every one of our teams has?!

You mean you don't think Yakhouba Diawara, Von Wafer and Steven Hunter can get it done?

Better question is...do you? I dont give a rats ass about the Nuggets or the Rockies. Broncos and Avs are the only two teams that matter to me in Denver.

Seeing that with their Big 3, the Nugz are 7th in the west - I'm going to vote no. Haha.

It's not even close ... Nuggets by a mile (Rockies 2nd).

I love Cutler too, but thusfar he's nothing more than a mediocre NFL quarterback.

Rockies.
I paused on that for a moment ... but Iverson is one of the best 10 guards to ever play the game, and the current roster has 2 of the best 10 players in the sport (by All-Star standards anyway), plus the defending DPOY, 2nd in boards, blocks leader 3 years running.

Tolowitski is too new.

Thats because of good coaching and other players on the team and players coming up from the Minors stepping up not cause Sakic, Smyth and Stastny aren't great players...the Broncos are my favorite team but Sakic and Smyth are great players and are icons in the NHL..Sakic is one the greatest NHL players ever..top 10..no one else on that list can match that..not even close..Stastny is on his way up for sure..is still leading the team in points after missing somewhere around 11 games straight..the Avs would prolly be in 1st place in the division and in the top 3 in the west had all 3 stayed healthy.

This is a Broncos board so there is dramatic bias, but the answer is obviously the Nuggets. As much hope as I have for Cutler, he has a long way to go and Marshall has had only one good year. Champ is obviously bad@ss. Anthony and Iverson are allstars and Camby is the reigning DPOY. There should be no argument here.

Nationally the Nuggets have much more star power. I suppose this poll is a matter of perspective.

The answer IS the Nuggets, whether this is a football board or not.

With that said, it's quite obvious that the sky is the limit for both Cutler and Marshall, and if they continue to progress and improve their play, they'll definitely be great and be a great duo like Manning/Harrison, etc.

But after 1 season, I mean, come on. You really can't say it. At least IMO.

Maybe we should open a new poll then. Which team is the most disapointing with it's current talent.

Nuggets by far

....because posting this on a Broncos forum would be totally unbiased.

/sarcasm :) take it lightly

The West is TOUGH and they are only 4.0 games back. Plus Nene as been out all year, not to mention they lack a truly pass-first PG. I think they are doing just fine. I have a feeling Melo will start playing very well, like he did before the suspension last year.

Had to go with the Rockies. I'm not a big fan of the Rockies because I think ownership sucks. However, they have made it to the big dance and deserve credit.

The Broncos, Avs and Nugs have not done chit lately. It's really a no-brainer.

Sakic is in the top 10 geatest players of all time in the NHL..has won 2 Stanley Cup Championships, a gold medal, 15 consecutive seasons as team captin/16 overall, league MVP in 2000-2001, Con Smythe Playoff MVP in 96', MVP of 2002 olympics, participated in 12 All Star games the list goes on..how many championships have any of those players or any other player on that list won? How many of any of the players can be considered top 10 in their sport all time? Sakic alone makes the the best big 3..Smyth is a beast and Stastny in only his second year and is leading the team in points..it's pretty clear not many on here watch hockey.

Agreed ... they had to beat Utah at home last week, but couldn't do it. That loss showed me they're just not up to it yet .... and even if they get Ron Artest - which they might - I don't have much hope for a long playoff run. The sad part is the Nuggets didn't go after Kyle Korver for the cheap-ass price Utah paid to get him. That kinda 3-point shooting wouldda opened things up for Melo to penetrate more... I think he's shooting too many outside shots now.

But since we blew it with Korver, why not bring Andre Miller home?

I'm with you, we need someone who can spread defenses and distribute.
