Usually, the first home against against an AFCW opponent where posters from the OrangeMane get together...it's been around the 2nd or 3rd week in September. See the tailgate section for pics of previous games! It's a blast!

I've met a bunch of my fellow Maners.

Missed Spider's phone calls a couple times in Amarillo.

I've kicked it at camp with Garcia.

Met up with SoCal and Khan at camp a time or two.

Met lots of folks at the OMGame (Sassy, Hogan, STG, O4L, Dispo, CBF1, RaidersSuck, Ben, Broncochica and several others after several beers that I don't recall!!!)

Meck pretty much moved me out here... many thanks brah!

PhillyBroncosNut and Med I've talked to numerous times but have never met in person... I will one day though.

Pezman I finally met at the OMGame this year and it was like we already knew each other.

I'm sure there are others that I've met and I'm forgetting, but only b/c of several beers!!!

The tall guy who was there with us that 1 preseason game, Ed, is a fellow maner even though he only has like 2 or 3 posts ever. He is more of a lurker.

I know your schedule can be hectic at times but I really enjoyed seeing you for that game and hopefully you can make it to some of the offseason events as well as the games next season.

So I've met you and him, and then I met Rick (DS49...formerly known as Play2win).

Interesting story. Back in 2005 I met Rick on here and we decided to get together and catch a game together, and he suggested the Green Iguana. Well me being relatively new to the area looked up the address online and found the one in Ybor city...despite the fact that he was talking about the one just 5 miles down the way on Bay Pines. Well when I didn't show up, he went up the street to the Sports Bar where we met that one day, and Rick ran into about 6 or 7 Bronco fans including Ed. So we decided that would be our place to go.

Worked out real well as I've made many friends there. I'll always remember my first game there, as it was @ Oakland when Darrent ran back the pick 80 yards for a touchdown and the endzone photo showed the Raiders fans flipping him the bird.

Hopefully our next guest will be Bronco Fiend, he lives over in Tampa. :yayaya:

Eh, it's pretty much my list, minus a few on it, adding a few on. I'd say close to 50+...maybe more. I'll have to take the time and go through that list and my lists from the tailgates.

I have to say, I've made some lifelong friends here! The thing I love about meeting so many is that they all live all accross the country! It makes for a lot more fun in traveling. There is always someone that I've met here that lives where I'm going and I automatically have a great tour guide or 'expert' to give me all the inside info!!

Orangemane weekend is always a blast! And, I also enjoy the other tailgates as well. Hope to meet a bunch more during the 2008 season!! I'll probably be making the trek to Boston for the game against the Patriots and there's a whole slew of Maners on that side of the world I've never met! And, I'd even love to meet some of the Manes Patriots fans, too!

Most of the Maners usually hang out at Mecks or at Discos' and then stop by my tailgater after I've been "at it" for several hours.
The only guaranteed early birds are usually CBF, Chica, and Dipso.

Before adding the two new options to the poll, I had already clicked on 11-25.... but I'm thinking that number's way too low. I probably met more than 25 Maners the first OM weekend and there have been more every year since then.

We're not hard to find. In fact, just head north from Mecks' place and as soon as you go under the viaduct take off your left shoe and the effect of the "shorter leg" will steer you right to our spot!ROFL!

LOL by the time I usually leave OF1 if I were to take off one shoe I'd prolly walk in circles but I'll try

You guys are killing me. Like TGN said, Chica and I are a couple of the early birds at the tailgate lineup. I have been the 1st car in line more and a few times :)

Chica and I were talking about it the other day... How I am able to see any of the actual football game after anywhere from 6-10 hours of tailgate time is beyond me.

Normal tailgate scene goes something like this.

before the gates even consider opening, meet Tailgatenut in line for eats and beer. Help set up tailgate, drink some more then wander over to the Bronco store to buy stuff and a new 12 oz shot glass. Back to TGN party, then off to see the Maner's and more party. After an hour of so, it is time to head back to see TGN..... this is where the danger lies, Making it back across Meck's place to lot C, WAY TOO MANY OTHER PARTIES GOING ON, so little time to drink at everyone of them. Always stop by Barrelman and Woody's for sure, then off to Mile High Jester's wild tailgate. After a few games of beer pong and who know's how many jello shots, its back to TGN for the scotch and beer fest before lunch is served. After lunch it is time to repeat the early morning rounds and try to find the car to find tickets for entry to the game.

Man I miss football season already. All I can say is that Bronco fans are some of the best people on the face of the Earth and am glad to call them all friends.

It's a tough life, but some of us have to live it! We are gluttons for punishment! :spit: I remember the game against the cheatriots, we were in line at 3 frigging AM. We truly need to get our heads examined.

We've actually toned down. When Jim and I were single he, Dean and myself would start "pre-tailgating" one to two days before the big games. INSANE!

Good times!

I've met a bunch of ya and like Nut said many others from the other Broncos boards as well. Word of advice though. Don't bother using your real names. NOBODY knows you by your real name!

I know it's kinda weird at first but when you get to one of these gigs people will know you by your screen name and it's impossible for people to remember two names for you. If your name is Broncosarethebomb online than that is your name! You are stuck with it!

I know Raidderssuck and Meck are Bobby and Steve but it is just easier to go with the handle. For some of the guest you bring to a Mane tailgate, they think you are weird for calling them MoCrush or Ludo (some forgot Scott and if he gets back to posting and traveling, we now can get him drunk for 2008 as he should be 21 years old!). Glad I didnt put my handle as Balls of Fury or something to that effect. It just isnt meeting people but the funny stories that go along with it. Atlas drunk and stealing meat from a private party then when the manager popps him, he just starts letting the meat hang from his lip as to say, "If you want it back, here take it!". Bronco Blue trying to get us a Broncos song in the Arizona bar. Or just good discussions like Hogan, Sassy, Jason in LA and I bullsheating until they kick us out of Qualcomm parking lot. This is why this site is not only great for discussions but going to the tailgate thread and planning a game in April that wont be happening until the middle of December (Cards game)! If you havent been to a game, just partying with the Maners is good enough. Especially if the game is a complete embarrassing blowout.

Well this is the online tailgate party that never ends. (See Omane logo) ;D

We Broncos fans do have the advantage that many fans don't have. When their season is over that's it. With this community the season rolls on. In fact if you think about it there is one of the biggest tailgates of the year right around the corner Aug 3rd or so in Canton Ohio. That's only 6 months away.

I just layed off the net for a while. After moving and not having a phone, internet, DTV, etc for about 2 weeks I started to like it. When Mediacom (my ISP) wanted to fanny-have-me for nothing I said a few choice words and the-................

Eventually the withdrawls started and the shakes got to be too much. I had to get my BB fix back...:afro:

Next Orangemane weekend, we are all doing a beer bong.

Then we will chase it with Don Julio.

That Don Julio was some excellent stuff... :approve:

Isn't Scotch the drink of choice at most O-Mane tailgates? Or is that the Bryant Gumbel HBO RealSports story on drunken tailgating fans I'm thinking of ...

BTW ... that drunken tailgating fans story made me proud to be a OrangeManer and a Broncos Fan. We are not in nearly the same category as all those fans ... those are some sick people (Bill, Bears, Jets, Redskins fans were profiled).

My own observations say that Bud Light is the drink of choice at most OMane tailgates....

Ha! Ya know, everyone says Coors Light but it sure is funny that the Bud Light disappears first.....I mean, we do damage Blue, but we don't do that much damage! Of course, if closet Bud Light drinkers (cough Broncocalijohn cough Sassy cough) would just own up and say they like the good stuff too, then all would be explained.....:spit: Ha!

OM Weekend should be cause for celebration ... leave the Light beers at home! I say break out the Hefeweisen and Sam Adams. Like the commercial says: "Don't be afraid of flavor, my man."

In fact, how about we ice down a few of these "Brewmaster's Variety 12-packs" next OM Weekend? ...

This was the same day - a couple hours later after the Broncos iced the win with a Cutler-Graham TD pass.

Man, I love those pics ...

(Pssssssssst! The guy in the middle above is getting married - to another OrangeManer! In just a couple weeks! Where are they registered?)

Looks like a few rouge fans to me. :D

Clavi - YES - Hefeweizen wheat beer! As much as I like those Sam Adams varieties, this Widmer Hefeweizen is my #1 ... if I'm not mistaken it's Taco John's favorite too ...

So I met Bronco Billy Wednesday.

All the way here in IL by chance on an elevator!

Small world. We both had bronco coats on and started talking tailgating.

I thought it was cool to run into a fellow maner.

We need an OM handshake or gang signs to flash. I was kind of hesitant to ask him if he was on a board at 1st. Glad I did.
