View Full Version : Domenik Hixon choked on the last return, just for the record

Just for the record, Domenik Hixon pretty much choked on the last return. He only returned it 14 yards forcing the Giants to an 83 yard drive. Even though he only had 2 returns, you could see that he is no elite returner (right now).

On another note, I was on some Patriots forums, and some of their fans actually think that the spygate ordeal is BS...

Did you see the hit he took on that return?

Hixon cant showboat the whole SuperBowl to himself. As a super hero, he has learned to be humble and share the wealth. Also, I see he has a ring now. Nothing like being cut from a team and getting picked up on a future Super Bowl team. Seems the Giants weren't doing much until he got there. HMMMMMM?

The Giants were winning all their road games

Oh, and Hixon had only returned for the Giants 1 game in the season.

Yeah, the guy that tackled him basically came in untouched and laid his helmet into Hixon's belly.

If you're trying to say he's no Hester, you're right. Great point.

If you're trying to say he's just some schmuck that's along for the ride... not quite.

I'm trying to say he's an AVERAGE player right now.

He didn't fumble... and got a ring.

I hope I am not standing next to you when Hixon strikes you down with lightning from his fingers.

Yes....?

It was amazing he even held onto the ball. It was a vicious hit.

It's not so much about the hit he took it's about him running into the first tackler he sees.

Prime example of what happens when there is no blocking. Hard to do much when no one even puts a hand on the guy.

Bull****, he would do that even with blocking, he seemed to want to be part of the wedge

I agree. But congrats to him none-the-less. Mike Shanahan did him a huge favor.

He did not fumble. That's all that mattered.
