I've already seen a few, and I'm sure we could come up with some of our own, too!
Lets see what clever ideas we can come up with as the the 'reason' why the Patriots lost yesterday...because, as we ALL know, they are "The Best Team EVER!" ;)
Of Course, the first excuse for the lack of Moss activitiy yesterday will be that he was distracted by the 'restraining order'
Lets see 'em!

In all honesty my father in-law and I kept thinking Brady was off. He looked sick disinterested and even looked like he was about to puke a few times. For christ sakes his skin was so yellow it made me nausious. I wonder if that had something to do with the poor passes.
Eh screw it he was just eaten alive today by the Giants D thats their excuse.

That's because for the first time this year he was chased and pressured on just about every play (he was getting owned)

But dudes skin looked yellow. For that matter so did many other players. I thought half the oline looked to be suffering from heat stroke. I wonder if the roof should have been opened.

I really don't think he was expecting to be owned so bad and his OL let him down big time where as they have been there for him all year long.

It's air conditioned.
Having the roof opened would have made it even more humid.

Yeah except it was a cool Phoenix night. Talked to my family after the game and they said it was in the 60's. The only real reason it was closed was chance of rain. I am not saying its a big factor but the father in-law and I were talking about it. Because Brady literally looked like he was about to ralf and the Giants were getting cramps.

Thats the problem with domed stadiums they have to cool them to a comfortable level for the occupants. I am pretty sure its code regulated. Heck the Facilities Manager for the Metrodome used to turn the outfield fans on high when the away team was batting to try and reduce home runs.

When there is a chance of rain anywhere in the area of Southern Arizona...it's dang HUMID! The air inside, filled with thousands of fans and the tiny roof (trust me, it looks bigger on TV than it really is...was there a year ago) would not have cooled that place down at all! It's not like when the roof is open it's half of the stadium. It's a small opening at the top. The stadium is built to be air-conditioned whether the roof is open or not.

Yeah I toured it before. Thats what I am saying that place became one huge replica of Savannah, GA. Hot, humid, and extremely hard to play football in. I just wonder if it effected both teams. I swore whats his name for the Patriots the OL with the long hair was on the verge of stroking out. His face was almost the color purple.

Maybe from your angle in the seats... but from the field it's as big as it is on TV and in real life.

Maybe so. I just seemed towards the end of the game there were a ton of heat related issues. I don't think it favored a team I just brought it up here. Except, Tom Brady really looked off. Don't know if it was the game or if he was sick or hungover!

The seats were practially on the field, second row, corner of the end zone, and I agree, not as big as it looks on tv. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c334/bmfbuffalo/stadium201.jpg

Perhaps you should check the color setting on your TV. He didn't look yellow to me.....he looked brown and green from eating so much turf.

they thought all they had to do was show up and they would win and i'm sure they were buying into all the best team ever crap and Brady's the best QB ever but the Giants were fired up and brought the heat all game long and any of you that don't think we need better O-lines and D-lines that was all the proof you need right there 8')

Brady spent more time on his back in Glendale this weekend than Paris Hilton... seeming "off" wasn't heat related... it was "beat the **** up" related!

Hmmm, I live about 15 minutes from the University of Phoenix Stadium...It was overcast and did sprinkle a little bit in the morning, but I'm sorry it was not so humid. During the monsoon season in AZ, it gets more humid, but we're talking July-August when the temperatures reach 110 degrees. It was pretty cool last night and I really doubt the inside of the stadium was a giant humidifier either. I've lived in Kansas and Chicago....I know what humidity feels like...AZ only gets it bad late in the summer IF it rains which is a rare occurence.

Yup. Brady's always been shakable if you can hit him, but the OL was able to keep that from happening all season. The Giants pounded Brady from the very first play, and he succumbed to the pressure. He looked like every other QB in the league who doesn't get adequate protection.
