It's probably bad when you're pigeonholed into one SET of liberal or conservative ideas (i.e. blindly cowtowing to a party platform), but simply having a label to define the ideas you believe can take the country forward isn't bad.

The Ideas are not bad , you need a balance of both , but what is bad is when the partys try to enhance the Ideas or snuff out the other side Ideas .....We need Corporate America , We need labor movement .......

One step would be to elect someone who can see the good in the individuals, even if they disagree politically. Obama, dispite his ideology i do not embrace -- he does seem to be able to say something postive about a member of the other club -- unlike Clinton. People think they can tear at each other apart constantly and that the Nation will remain strong -- I do not think it can take much more.

Oh we will survive , Katrina proved that , even though there were screw up , people were trying to help each other , even Sean Penn was in a row boat pulling people from the waters , Say what you will about Penn , but his actions speak volumes ........Point is you can get someone like Penn doing Hands on rescuing , we have alot of hope in this country no matter who is elected ..
