From an article in the Chronicle-Telegram (some Ohio newspaper I've never heard of) about Charger linebacker Matt Wilhelm:
Wilhelm was in the middle of a mini-controversy when cameras caught him and quarterback Philip Rivers yelling across the field at Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler at the end of the Chargers’ 23-3 win on Christmas Eve. Wilhelm led the Chargers with 12 tackles, including one for a yard loss that ended a drive at the 2-yard line in the fourth quarter.
“We had a dominating performance against them, when they were jawing all night,” Wilhelm explained. “Cutler called me some obscene names. It was reciprocation.
“I don’t regret it. The media turns it into whatever they want to. We beat them handily two times this year. I look forward to seeing them next year.”
I think the Bronco-Charger games next season will be quite chippy.

I love it. There needs to be more of this.
I know it's a different era, I know it's a business, etc.
But how about some good ol fashioned hate? This is going to be awesome, assuming the Broncos can keep up their end of the bargain.
Bah, we all said the same thing for the 2nd meeting and they still drilled us.
Unless we get some OT's, it won't matter because they are going to keep knocking the crap out of Cutler.

Bah, we all said the same thing for the 2nd meeting and they still drilled us.
Unless we get some OT's, it won't matter because they are going to keep knocking the crap out of Cutler.
plus our guys in pass protection need to cut those massive 3-4 LBs down to size, not take them on man to man.
Find Merriman and Phillips knees and chop em down.
Was watching the 1997 AFC Champ Game and this is what TD and Howard Griffith did to neutralize the Steelers 3-4 LBs.

Word the thump. However, Denver has some hurdles to clear. If we can't produce a competitor again than we are just becoming that team that is the middle brother. Hates to be pissed on from the older siblings, loves to spread his wrath to those below.
Shanny you are on notice. We want a good old fest not a good old we hate they way the beat our ass fest!

There will be a lot of talking next season between Denver and SD for sure.
We cant afford to get blown out again at home.
