I love Keith Olbermann ... been watching him for over 20 years now. But yes, he's somewhat unfair to Republicans. Maybe not 'unfair' per se, but at the least he is biased against them.

They are both journalist/advocates, but the difference between Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly is that Olbermann is more intellectual and makes better arguments. With less anger. And less paranoia. And more class. And more humor.


And ... by the by ... Keith is not too happy with the Clintons these past three or four weeks.

MSM in itself. The radio is a different story. If the liberals could find a way to be competitive on the radio, more power to them. But Olbermann is not a "journalist" in the sense that qt uses, or in the standard TexanBob interposes above. Neither is Bill O'Reilly. Or Sean Hannity. Or Lou Dobbs. Or anybody on the radio. No, these outfits (MSNBC, Fox, CNN, AirAmerica, EIB, etc..) employ 'straight' journalists to read the news and headlines. The hour-long show hosts like these INTENTIONALY have points of view platforms, and they are far more interesting that way. That's why Anderson Cooper and Sheppard Smith are boring. They're both very talented, but because, in the Murrow tradition, they play it sraight down the line, they're boring.
