Guess nobody plays on the current gen anymore. Madden 08 on PS2 is still one of the best sports titles around. I won't be making the jump to next gen for about another year. I think Madden 09 on next gen is when EA will turn the corner and put out a good Madden. Madden 01, being the 3rd for the series on PS2 was a real turning point.

Dont mean to derail much but if any one has Call of Duty - Modern Warfair send me a pm Id love to play with guys on the mane even though I am just an average player when I have to play on a 19" most of the time. When I can get on the main TV I tend to do a hell of allot better.

Its one game just play.............I personally think it is beneficial to play against ur own team(in this case the Broncos) as you can take playing strategies and tips from other peoples play that are good....... for example I use Champ as a WR very effectivly as I put him at #4 and i run a spread. I could catch on to something u do. It only helps whether you win or lose.

putting a 99 speed CB (Bailey) at WR is cheese and if you want a bad online rep in the madden community keep using that.. that is a surefire way to have ur username listed as a cheeser on the Madden forums


nano glitch blitz is part of the reason madden 08 is a broken game. it basically takes advantage of the broken offensive line AI, forcing the center to pick up a guy directly in front of him, and the right guard to pick up a guy slightly to his right... leaving this huge gap for a linebacker to run through. there literally isn't even time for the QB to hand off. only hope of defense is shotgun and quick routes... its ridiculous.

UM NO.....Bailey is very easily coveredHe cant catch tough balls and he only catches when there is 5 yards from everyone else.............I know plenty of broncos fans who use this method and i dont see it as cheating as all. Ur just dumb..............plus Bailey loses stamina and isnt as effective on defense so i dont know what ur talking about

I play as the Broncos most of the time, but I've won with 8 different teams all-together. I don't really have a style. Sometimes I'll come out in 5 wide and pass every play the first half. This really throw people off. Then come in the second half 3WR-singleback. Throw one running play in for every 3 or 4 pass attempts. Other times I'll run the ball and play more conservative. I just have
fun anymore. I used to take it way too serious. The wins and losses don't mean much anymore. I just want to play the damn game and have fun.
