NE is a little bit in no man's land the people the want are either gone by 3 or could be had at 15. IMO we could be able to trade 12/next years3rd and a fifth for 8. This assumes Ellis is there at 8.
Id rather sign Corey Williams. But have you considered using Foxworth with the 12 as trade bait?

I like Foxworth too but I really doubt he'll be back after next year, so we might as well get something out of him.

I dont know if Ellis will be off the board by 12. A lot will change between now and end of pro days. Is Ellis just a great player because of all of the talent on the USC D. Who knows? What I can tell you is the guy is pretty light in the a** and too short for my liking. He also has quite an extensive injury history. Ankle surgery as a freshman, Knee injury last year. I think after the Combine Dre Moore will be getting more love from this board. Just my 2 cents. I think I'd rather trade back with Chicago and pick up their 2nd 3rd rounder just so we'd have one in the 3rd. From that spot we might still be able to land either Clady or Ellis. Pick up Sims, Okam, Moore or best LB available in the 2nd.
