Considering I was raised in house holds that were Packer and Bronco friendly; I'd have to say that Green Bay was always my #2. Considering I'd of been beat silly like Terry Schiavo had I made Green Bay my first team.
In fact, my fourth grade picture has me wearing a Favre jersey, because I'm that awesome.

When it comes to talent, there's no comparison between Peyton Manning and Jessica Simpson. But their impact on their favorite quarterbacks is eerily similar - they are both jinxes.
The last time Simpson showed up at Texas Stadium, Dallas' Tony Romo had his worst game of the season. The only time Peyton came to Giants Stadium in 2007, little brother Eli had the worst game of his career. That might not be the only reason Peyton will be a no-show in Green Bay for tomorrow NFC's Championship Game, but their dad, Archie, certainly indicated yesterday it was a factor.
"Peyton would be at this one and told Eli he would go. But Eli said, 'Don't worry about it,'" Archie Manning told the Daily News by phone from Nashville, where he was giving a speech. "Eli is a little superstitious and he said Peyton came to a game this year that didn't go real well."
The Manning brothers are very close - they speak often, have done commercials together and are each other's biggest fans. Peyton Manning was in East Rutherford on Nov.25 for the game against the Vikings after the Colts had played three days earlier on Thanksgiving. Eli was horrendous that day. He threw four interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns, in the Giants' 41-17 loss, their worst of the season. Eli attended his brother's victories in the AFC title game and Super Bowl last season.
It is doubtful Packers fans will be wearing Peyton masks tomorrow to haunt Eli, the way Carolina Panthers fans tried to mess with Romo by wearing Simpson masks on Dec.22, one week after his meltdown game. But, if nothing else, the masks could help protect Packers fans from the frigid temperatures.
Peyton is recuperating from the Colts' shocking playoff loss to the Chargers by deer hunting in Mississippi and won't be in Green Bay to see his brother try to get the Giants into the Super Bowl.
In the biggest game of his life, wouldn't Eli like for Peyton to be there supporting him?
"Eli is pretty loose about things," Archie said. "Eli does not get his feelings hurt when somebody does not come. Eli is Eli. He doesn't get uptight about anything like that. But he does have a little superstition. He would just as soon (say) if Peyton was there for the Minnesota game, that we wipe that one out."
Simpson, wearing a pink No.9 Romo jersey, was blamed for his abysmal performance against the Eagles when she sat in a luxury box on Dec.16 as he threw three INTs and was sacked four times in a 10-6 loss to the Eagles.

We've kept losers and morons around who have contributed nothing like Nate Jackson for YEARS and YEARS and ****ING YEARS...you cant give your mother****ing 4th rounder a couple more weeks into his second ****ing year you stupid morons. You are an embarassment Sundquist, I hope you get ****ing flogged like a dog you piece of ****. This incompetence and smugness has to stop. I really don't understand the hatred that some of you dumb dumbs have for Brett Favre. It's not his fault the talking heads drool over him. The bottom line is he's a fantastic competitor who's made a career out of winning. Who, wants a cold beer . I'm dumb I know. Take care guys
Im just glad this was a good game. In fact, Id say it was a great game. Good ebb and flow and a few twists and turns coming down the stretch with the Favre picks and the missed FGs by Tynes.

More unrequited Favre love. Oh, cast your petals upon the waters! Call out to Brett in the night! Oh, what is this mysterious power of the Favre?
couldnt agree more.
Thank god we wont have to see his wife every 5 f***ing seconds in the telecasts for the SB.
We outplayed GB on Monday Night and they won b/c of poor officiating, and now without his zebras to bail him out, Favre shows his true colors!!!!

Unrequited? How so? I'm just dealing in facts here. The guy has had a kickass career, only a crazy eunuch far gone with the syphilis, and drunk off of his own piss couldn't understand that fact.
Cram your silly faux dramatics with walnuts, and understand that Favre is a clear cut all time great. He has the passing stats...he has the wins.

Geez, it's just a joke. You're starting to sound like Madden.

Favre is full of crap and he goes with the flow when it comes to the nonsense that is said about him. He has this record for most consectutive starts but Ive seen him fall down to avoid getting tackled. Ive also seen him lauch a pass to avoid getting hit when scrambling 5-10 yards down field.
Earlier this year Favre was pounding his chest about the previous claim that this is the most talented team he's ever played on. The fact that the Packers had a good season doesnt validate his claim when you consider the talent of the teams he played on in the mid 90s. But this yahoo doesnt realize that and takes it even further by pounding his chest in a press conference.

Whoops. The joke went right over my tiny head.
Over the years there has been a lot of weird hatred for Favre on this board. It boils down to two things...1) Madden has been slobbering over Favre his entire career. 2) People were/are overly protective of the Duke's records.
As to 1.) People need to think for themselves. Point number 2.) The Duke's game was for a good portion of his career...ugly. He was simply a winner. Some Donk's fans have serious inferiority complexes re: great quarterbacks.
I would take Elway over Favre 7 days a week...365 days a year, but that doesn't mean that Favre isn't great. He just plays for a different franchise and didn't set a record by starting 5 super bowls.

I don't hate Farve, I think he's good...great even, but I do think he is a bit overrated. He gets no flak for leading the universe in interceptions.
I really don't understand the hatred that some of you dumb dumbs have for Brett Favre. It's not his fault the talking heads drool over him. The bottom line is he's a fantastic competitor who's made a career out of winning. I understand having some vitriol for a guy like Aikman, but it's hard to gather where the loathing comes from in regards to a hard nosed player like Favre.
Then again the vast majority of you people are unflinchingly stupid.
lighten up, Francis.

Its because of his thumb
I like the way he enjoys the game and is a great QB but, if I was a diehard Packer fan I'd always wonder when pick is coming.

Brett proved once again he cant handle the all out blitzs.
I was watching SB 32 last night and saw how Greg Robinson and the boys flustered Brett with the constant pressure.
BTW...G-Men have unquestionably the leagues best D-Line.
Strahan, Osi, Tuck.... my lord it must be a terrible experience to be a QB going against that D-Line. They are a devastating unit. I hope Shanny was watching this fearsome front.

Yeah. And isn't his 442 TD's a record or something. Let's not mention he surpassed the great and superior John Elway in wins.

he had two more seasons than #7.
Lets see Brett do what #7 did in 16 seasons with scrubs like Vance Johnson, Rickey Nattiel, Orson Mobley, Brian Russell, and Mark Jackson catching the footballs instead of starting out his career with a freaking monster of a WR in Sterling Sharpe.

As much as anything, I think it was the philosophy of Dan Reeves to not be overly aggressive but then to let Elway win games at the end. Elway was never really a stat horse. Ive always kind of been surprised he amassed the numbers he did. If Elway would have played more of his career under Shanahan in the WCO, youd probably see better stats...plus if Elway was younger he would have played under different rules that are more friendly for passing numbers and protecting QBs.
BTW, one of the ironies of Favre throwing so many interceptions is that he played in the WCO his whole time in Green Bay and thats supposed to be a low risk passing game.

This is a perfect post. My point all along has been that Donks fans like to discredit what Favre has done because they're insecure of Elway's place in history.
That is exactly why you people are dumb dumbs.
THEY BOTH WERE/ARE GREAT!
Surely you can wrap your minds around that concept.
Elway averaged 1.3 TD passes per game over his career, and 1 int (rounded up to the nearest tenth.)
Favre has averaged 1.7 TD passes per game, and 1.1 int (rounded up to the nearest tenth.)
Elway started 5 super bowls. Favre has started two. What you jackasses don't seem to understand is that they're very similar players. For the umpteenth time...I think John Elway was a superior football player, but Favre is also ****ing good.
Keep searching for reasons to diminish what Favre has accomplished though. Outright stupidity has become a staple of the orangemane over the past year or two.

like i said, Favre has had superior personell and scheme when compared to Elway.
Dan Reeves ultraconservative offense <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< West Coast offense.
Favre spent his entire career in the West Coast scheme (forget that worthless rookie year with the Falcons).
elway only had 6 years in the West Coast (1993-1998)
You can say whatever the hell you want, but #7 was and is better than #4. Both are great, but #7 is my man for he had piss poor talent around him.
Favres receivers:
Sterling Sharpe, antonio freedman, andre rison ,mark Chmura, keith jackson, javon walker, donald driver, terry glenn, greg jennings, james jones, donald lee, bubba franks, robert brooks
All were outstanding receiving talents.
John had Steve Watson, Anthony Miller, Eddy Mac, Shannon, and Rod as far as outstanding receiving talent goes.

I've already stated a couple of times in this thread that I think that Elway was the better player.
As far as your list of receivers goes...you're doing some serious cherry picking. A lot of those guys didn't spend more than a year in Green Bay.
For sh!ts and giggles...compare "The Vance's" career numbers to Robert Brooks. For that matter compare what Mark Jackson, and Ricky Nattiel did for Denver to what guys like Andre Rison, and Terry Glenn did in Green Bay.
Who they had catching the ball isn't the point anyway. The point is too many of you bedwetters on the 'mane act as if Brett Favre hasn't done **** during his career...while the opposite is true.
Get used to the Duke slipping further down the all time stats list. Favre is only a gate keeper. Brady, and Manning are both going to obliterate the current passing records. They're both good. And so was/is John Elway, and Brett Favre.
