Listening to Sirius this afternoon and a Steelers fan mentioned how good he thought Jonathon Stewart was going to be and Gil Brandt said "you can take it to the bank" that Stewart will be drafted ahead of Mcfadden but when asked whether Stewart would be #1 overall said, "oh no, nothing like that" so apparently the post-season shuffle is beginning or on the horizon.
Just thought that was really interesting, hadn't heard many knocking on Mcfadden yet but apparently at least one person is ready to predict his fall already.
I bet I just gave those two douchebags a woody by mentioning how Mcfadden could fall so in an effort to preempt them, NO WE DO NOT WANT TO TRADE CUTLER, MARSHALL, AND BAILEY FOR HIM IF HE SLIPS A FEW SPOTS.

Stewart runs hard. Marion Barber hard. I'm sure any team would love him as an addition.

Maybe if we trade all of them we can get Mcfadden, who we can use as a bargaining chip to get HIXON.

Spare yourself. The hiring of Slowik ensures Champ will remain in Denver for a variety of reasons. So while I think its seriously worth consider (trading Champ), its pretty apparent that Bailey will be in the fold this year. Id be willing to trade the 12, the 1st next year and maybe a throw-in though. Did they discuss where he might fall to?

He seemed to just like Stewart better than Mcfadden and thought RBs as a whole were going to continue to fall as there are so many teams finding late round gems. Nobody expects these people to fall out of the first round but I think they're expecting more in the range where Peterson finally went last year. Just outside the top 5 kinda thing. That's all pre-combine though. You know these next couple months seem to be able to influence a guy's draft position as the 3 or 4 years he's been playing college ball.

And so Schramm thinks it might be Stewart who goes at number 7? That would definitely be nice for us.

This opinion is catching on right now... I'm also hearing Mendenhalls name ahead of DMAC. It will be interesting to see how they perform at the combine.

I think that has more to do with pro-scouts getting their evaluations and game film to real NFL GMs instead of the "draft experts" that have been speculating since these kids were sophomores.
