Great news for teams needing OT - adds to the depth if you don't get him.

Potential on the same level as Thomas (perhaps better after some NFL experience because of his size), at or better then Brown and Brickashaw.

IMO, he's not nearly as "NFL ready" as Thomas was. But I see his potential greater than the other two. If Thomas and he were in the same class, it would be Thomas taken first.

No doubt Thomas is the better OT.. Thomas is a very rare Tony Boselli type of OT, IMO, something Robert Gallery was suppose to be, that being said I do not like Jake Long as high as people have him. Oher is by far the most talented OT in college football IMO, and developing one more year could make him go from anywhere in rd 1 this year, to top 5 next year IMO.

From everyone's favorite Sporting News War Room (players that should stay in school):
, OT, Mississippi.
No question, Oher is an elite athlete who has the physical tools to be a very high draft choice, but he has yet to show the on-field consistency necessary to merit a high pick. Michael Lewis' book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, definitely had a lot of great things to say about Oher and how he has matured, the book has also hurt Oher's stock in that it points out his academic difficulties. That raises a red flag for many NFL teams in regards to whether he has the ability to handle the mental side of learning and functioning well in an offense. Oher would be better off returning to Mississippi for the 2008 season; in particular, he needs to work on his blocking technique in order to show NFL teams that he can learn from coaching and translate what he is taught on the practice field into game situations. With another season playing college ball, Oher should improve his technique enough to prove he's worth taking a chance on in Round 1 of the 2009 draft.

A lot of people are saying he's returning to school now... is he in the draft or did he withdraw and return?
