A law still on the books in Mississippi entitles Johnny Valentine to over $750,000 from the man that his ex-wife Sandra ended up marrying, a judgment made final by the U.S. Supreme Court's refusal to hear the case, previously upheld on the state level.

After then-named Sandra Valentine and businessman Jerry Fitch Sr. conceived a child during an affair, the Valentines divorced. Johnny then sued Fitch under the state's "alienation of affection" law, which entitles an abandoned spouse legal recourse for loss of companionship, love, and sex.

Mississippi is one of seven remaining states with such a law on the books, which considers a spouse the property of the other.

"I don't consider myself property," says Sandra Fitch, to ABC News.

"Not Johnny's, not anyone's. Just my own."

That's one fugged up law. Here's another one.

Years ago my father in law was in an accident which he caused, and the other motorist was injured and bedridden for several months. He sued my father in law for "lack-o-nookie" and was awarded $17000.00 for not being able to "you know what" for 2 months.

Keep it in mind the next time someone "rear-ends" you!:wiggle:

It's called loss of consortium. Anytime you are negligent and that negligence results in an injury to a person that disables his/her ability to have relations with there married partner you can be sued for loss of consortium.

Sex is important!!!!!!!!

Lack-o-nookie is a seldom used provision of the limp dick act of 1976.
