Real busy with classes this semester, but I thought I'd churn one out for you guys. Took some value pegging, but I feel like this is a good effort. Best work I've done thus far.
1) Lance Leggett, WR - Miami
Awesome speed, get him and we're the best ever.
2) Derek Lokey, DT - Texas
Better than Frank Okam, not as fat.
4) Zack Bowman, CB - Nebraska
Good corner with solid cover skills, also knows the price of corn per bushel.
4) Kregg Lumpkin, RB - Georgia
He just sounds like the next Terrell Davis.
5) Paul Smith, QB - Tulsa
Cutler is a bust and we could use another Paul Smith.
5) Geoff Schwartz, OT - Oregon
Erik Pears is a ginger, but this one is a little better.
7) Owen Schmitt, FB - West Virginia
At this point who gives a Schmitt.
7) Ernie Wheelright, WR - Minnesota
Another WR who is hard to take down, but I don't know what's harder - that or his ability to catch the football.
How do you guys feel about this? I think this will really help our chances for 2008. Feel free to comment on each pick, and I'll respond to each accordingly. Thank you!
