I got one for Christmas last year and one this year. Mine are NuView and Kodak. Its pretty cool you can load the pictures onto a memory card (make sure you include that with the gift or its useless) and it displays them. You set up the speed they transition different types of transitions and it plays video. All in all they are pretty good.

That's not a problem. I am looking specifically for ones that use the SD cards as that is what my parents' digital camera uses...as does mine and my sister's...we can load pics on the SD cards and just send the cards to my parents or they can use their's.

Yeah thats what makes them really cool. You can trade out cards and have a whole new show. Mine has good picture quality. I just checked and I have the NV-800 so its probably similar to what you are looking at.

My firm gave every employee a digital frame. Can't remember the brand because it's still in the office, but I love it. And you don't need an SD card for it. I mean, it has an SD slot if you want, but it also has an internal memory that you can load things onto it via a USB cable that comes with it.
