I thought it went Atlanta, Oakland, KC?

There will have to be a coin flip - may not happen til Indy in Feb. KC will pick after Oakland is the only thing for sure.

No way in hell the Texans take a RB in the first round. Remember who the head coach is and where he spent much of the past 25 years? Just about anyone in the next 5-6 selections would be a better choice.

In that regard, it doesnt make sense to go out and sign a FA either but they did that in Ahman Green. I dont think they paid him top dollar but Im sure theyre paying more than they would a low round pick or an UFA.

Looks like Kenny Phillips is the new "it" selection for the Broncos in everyone's mocks.

Which is funny because that'll never happen.

Can't see us taking a safety in the first round. Needs on the D and O line are more pressing. Best DT or OT available.

Gimme Phillips, Connor, Ellis, Otah...and after today...Maulauga if he declares.

Phillips will be an impact player. IMPACT. I'd feel differently if we were close to contending for the SB, but we aren't close. We have to take the most dynamic player on the board. LB is deep this year and can be addressed in round 2. There are some hog type DTs who will fit Bates' scheme in the mid rounds.

I REALLY want Phillips. He's gonna be better than any of the Safeties who have come out in the past 3 or so years. Huff has struggled, but the others (Whitner, Nelson, Griffin, etc) have all played very well. I'm not against OT cuz it's not "sexy", I just believe it can be addressed via FA.

Correction...can be as good as Landry...probably not better. I don't wanna be a sensationalist.
