If youre ok with what we have, fine. But if you think we need help at guard or center or you think we should add depth, who are some guys you think we should target? Weve been discussing Tackle a lot and for good reason. But what about guard and center? Id like drafting Zuttah. He is slotted for the 5th and can play T as well as G & C. Faneca will probably be the most expensive offensive lineman FA. Do you think we should lean more toward the technician or the mauler type?

lex, Zuttah's also the player I'd like to pick up in the middle rounds. I don't think the interior's a huge need, but a versatile OL with a bit of a nasty streak is always welcome. If he can beat out one of the other young OL on the roster and start, that's a bonus. If not, at least we'd have some legitimate depth.

Oh, and for the 2nd question, I don't really care what type of OL we pick, so long as we're consistent in our approach and make a concentrated effort to improve the position, not relying on a couple of late rounders who may be adequate plug-ins in three years. If we go with a Loadholdt, Long, or Chris Williams at OT early, let's build a physical, nasty line. If we pick a Sam Baker early, we're probably going to stick with the technician-type OL.

It's all about Duke Robinson. I like Zuttah too, maybe in the 4th round.

Eric Young and dude from App State...Kerry Brown. If we do go Guard, Brown is the guy I want. He's athletic enough and is 6'4" 305 which is a bit larger than what we've been going with.

Zuttah's about 285 lbs isn't he?? No thanks. BAd draft for guards overall. Better to take a mid-round tackle who might convert to guard nicely - like Greco from Toledo or McGlynn from Pitt.

Good thoughts about getting a OT and letting them play OG for a year to develop.

One kid I want to see coming up is Hercules Satele from Hawaii. If he has the same demeanor as Samson Satele, he could be a great mid round steal. He is barely on the radar right now, and should get a great test versus Georgia in a few days.

Duke Robinson and Branden Albert.

I was impressed by Albert today in the Gator Bowl. The 6-foot-7, 315 pounder can pull and get downfield. He also buries linemen at the point of the attack. I would like to hear Anubis' opinion of him.

This list has ZERO credibility with Cody Wallace of Texas A&M not even being listed. You didn't even list Pollack of ASU. They are 2 of the 3 best centers along with Justice.

Although i'm not ruling out drafting an olineman, There is no quick fix in the draft. I think Shanahan will go the route of FA to fix the oline. A true fix to our oline won't be cheap. We're going to have to spend a good chunk of change in order to fix the oline.
