Running backs — Edgerrin James (1999-2005), Eric Dickerson (1987-91). How important was James to the franchise? Team owner Jim Irsay presented him with a Super Bowl ring, even though he left the team a year before the Colts wound up winning it all. I remember Jumpy Geathers blew out his knee in 1997. He was out for the season so he just went home. Denver didn't want to give him a SB ring that year. Jumpy was fighting to get it too. I don't know how that turned out but Jumpy should have gotten a ring.

Nomar got a ring because he was on the team for most of the season, he was traded to the cubs around August.
