week 5 ........ Plummer sucked ...... Tatum Bell did good ourtside of a fumble , but the main differense is Defense , talk about a 180 turn ....
firing Coyer wasnt a brilliant plan after all

You can't argue against the numbers... the Coyer defense was so much better than Bates' defense it isn't even comparable... or funny.

come on spider...the 2006 defense played some horrible offensive teams in early 2006.
they weren't even challanged until they played the colts and it was all down hill after that game

still alot better then this years D , that much is clear ......
Yeah, why dont you pop in the AFC Championship game vs Pittsburgh. Im sure it will be fun to watch Coyer continuously running the same blitzes even though it was obvious the Steelers (ie the Blitzburgh Steelers) had countered it. Im not sure you can make an apples to apples comparison between the two coaches but it got to be really frustrating watching Coyers inability to make on the fly adjustments.

It might have helped if the defensive players had all been healthy for that AFCC game. But as usual, they weren't.

yes....
I am not saying 06 defense were world beaters , they wasnt .... but man Al Wilson knocked the piss out of Heap , pressure on the QB , forcing punts on 3 rd and 1 . and T. Bell was alot better then Henry ......

Combine the fact it was the Ravens playing in that ****ty weather, and it makes the evaluation a waste.
NEVER cite the stats gained from a weather game. Weather games are equalizers and the stats are COMPLETELY MEANINGLESS.
Do you think the Pats would've only beat the Pats 20-10 last week, if it were not for a Nor'Easter storm? If the weather were good the Pats would've beat em 49-10.

they played the game in rain , freaking rain ....... Ravens were a run first team .... the snow bowl was the worst weather game I saw .........But Rain ?

who in the **** gives a rats ass about the Pats when comparing last years Defense under ****ing Coyer , to this years defense under ****ing bates ?
now when did I say last years defense was excellent ? ****ing read , I said last years D was better then this years D and getting rid of Coyer turned out not to be so brilliant ............Kinda Like me saying the Camero is a better Car then a Yugo ...... But that doesnt mean the Camero is any where close to a Corvette ... damn dude you are the last one I figured would go drama queen
