The guy only got a few games worth of a chance after being injured his whole rookie year. Not to mention our new special teams coach didn't really have things set yet.

I was pretty unhappy about this move when it happened. This is a perfect example of one of my biggest issues with this coaching staff...cutting ties with players before giving them a legitimate chance to grow.

I think the turning point for Hixon was meeting up with Everret and talking to him and seeing on the road to recovery. He said it had been weighing on him.

Our ST was bad to begin with...however Hixon was just too easy to bring down. He's still not the type of returner you'd want on a team.

Kinda like Glenn Martinez, he got lucky on that punt return...in reality he's not that great.

I tuned into this game wanting to see the Pats win, just so I could have witnessed the perfect season, and because I hate the Dolphins franchise more than the I hate the Pats. Now after watching the first half I find myself pulling for the Giants. Nice 1st half, hope the game is as entertaining the second half.

I was going to post the same regarding the penalty on the kick off. I think the Giants kick return team did a good job of opening big lanes for Hixon too. Good for him & the Giants...punk d' Pats !
