......while checking my list last night I noticed I had a few more things to take care of before the Holiday. My day will be busy taking care of being the "Company Santa" and my weekend will be absorbed by last minute preparations, so I do not want to miss the oppotunity to......
.......Wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannuka, Feliz Navidad, .......(and if I missed a particular celebration, may it be a happy one).
It has been a pleasure to interact with you this season regardless of agreements or disagreements. The internet has given us the opportunity to meet strangers and make new friends across the globe. If everyone would reach out as we do here many of the problems we face as a global community would be minimized and possibly elliminated.
I would like to thank those who have taken the time to come by and introduce themselves for the first time this season. I was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to many years of pre-game festivities!
During the season there are disagreements regarding football, war, and politics issues which, at times have gotten "out of hand". I, for one will attempt to "agree to dis-agree" more often than to allow these "debates" to get out control. My sincere apologies to anyone whose' feelings I may have hurt. In most instance it is only due to the nature of "MY" beast.
In closing, once again, Have a Happy and Safe Holiday and GO BRONCOS!

Have a safe holiday and get to your party destination safely. Next season I WILL get back to a Broncos game in Denver. I PROMISE! The last one I attended was the AFC Championship game in 2005. That didn't go so well. HOWEVER, nobody can blame our current woes on me. ;D

I think ALL of us could be a little kinder to one another both online and in the "real world" in 2008.
Happy Holidays to everyone. Let's not forget how fragile life can be heading into 2008. It was about a year ago we lost one of our own needlessly on the streets of Denver. We also lost other members of the Broncos team/Orangemane family/friends........

I hope everyone's holidays are filled with joy, peace and happiness. Merry Christmas.
Also, let's not forget those who are making the sacrifices for us and cannot be with their loved ones over the holiday season. Thanks troops!

A very nice post Tailgate and I agree. Although our anger is spur of the moment, I don't feel any of us truly mean to offend or hurt feelings. I hope to make it to a game soon and meet some of you.
I have to mention something special about these holidays. I have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. A couple of my kids are struggling this season because of being out of work do to injuries and because of going to school, working and trying to provide. You know, the young family thing. I've tried to help but can only do so much. Yesterday I went with my daughter to see my grandson sing at school. When it was finished they asked several of the younger classes to remain in the auditorium. They then began to bring in huge bags filled with presents and also bikes. Now these weren't refurbished bikes, they were brand new bikes, expensive bikes. They gave my grandson a bag and everyone of the presents addressed him by name. There were 20 presents in that bag. I saw many of the parents with tears in their eyes, my daughter included. There was a beautiful fleece blanket, two pairs of levi's, three shirts, shoes, socks, transformers, games, remote control car and an X-box, which will be from Santa.
A gentleman who is president of a bank here gave an exorbitant amount of money to U of U kids to go out and buy these gifts with the explicit instructions that they be top of the line. He then researched to find a school that had many poor kids, ones who's parents work but live paycheck to paycheck. My daughter said to me "I was so disappointed that he might not get what all boys want this Christmas. Such a miracle". I told her when I had my 6 children every day after Thanksgiving I would cry wondering how I would provide them with a Christmas and every year it happened. It's the miracle of Christmas and what the spirit of the season does to each of us.
Merry Christmas everyone!
