I will try to add the SoS chart later but here are few things I need to get of my chest:
Our defense is awful, I usually avoid all the fire X cut Y discussions but this miserable unit can not be allowed to be part of the 2008 Broncos.
Last Thursday for the 3rd or 4th time this year, a team went 4 for 4 TDs on Red Zone possessions. For few minutes it looked like the Texans were the Broncos and the Broncos were the Chiefs: the bootleg was available every time…
BTW, our offense RZ: 2 possessions 1 TD, 1 FG (same as all year)
Week 14 it was the Ravens, week 15 the Buccaneers. The Broncos currently hold the longest drought on Kick Return TD. And forgive me for being pessimistic, I find it hard to believe it will change any time soon.
For more info’ check out the link in post #1.
F the NFL Network. I hate games on Thursday (other than on Turkey Day) and I hate the NFLN coverage, and I hate the fact that I can’t get NFLN through my cable company. Enough with this BS.
And BTW, the “new” nfl.com also sucks ass.
Challenge: since I don’t have it available and I hate to look it up, I wonder if someone can help:
The Raiders are on pace to complete a 5 year span with a 19-61 record. I got to believe it’s one of the worse ever if not the worst. Does anyone know (/can check) where exactly will they be ranked?
Thanks.

That KR deal stinks. I think the team has only 3 KR return TD's in its entire history. Bad year all around.

Ouch. Combine that with the most 30+ points games given up in a season since 1968, and potentially the most points scored against since 1968, and I have to wonder when this franchise will pull out of the tailspin.

TB went 16-63 from 83-87. I don't know if this is the worst ever record or not but you can get most stats at http://www.pro-football-reference.com/
I can't help but notice that we have the 32nd ranked starting position on off. Considering all the injuries we had and some of the awfull, holding calls called against us (I am sorry, it will be a long time before i forget GB game), offense did better than i expected. If we can get some luck with heath, our offense can be explosive next year.

Denver needs a turnaround stretch of years. This was a franchise to be proud of from 1977-1998, they competed real hard for an NFL Title and won playoff games.
I detailed in another thread how Denver has some of it's worst stretches in terms of playoff wins and Division Titles won since 1977:
-From 1977-1994 Denver won seven AFC West Titles.
-From 1995-2007 Denver won three AFC West Titles.
-Since 1977 Denver has only two stretches where they went 5 consecutive years without an AFC West Title. From 1979-83, and from 1999-2004.
-Since 1977 Denver has missed the playoffs four times for two or more consecutive years. From 1980-82, 1994-95, 2001-2002, and 2006-2007.
-Since 1977 Denver has won only one playoff game in an eight-year stretch twice, from 1978-85, and 1999-2007.
Bowlen has to turn this around and go onto a better series of years than we've seen since 1998.

Ok. Our year sucked.
But you know what? Old grudges die hard and it warms this old heart good to see so many of the "Last" place spots for offense taken up by the 49ers. I hate that team. I had to live in the Bay Area --as a die-hard Bronco fan-- in the 80's. Don't think that was hard? At least the Raiders were in LA.

I'm curious about what the level of cheating is in the NFL right now. Romanowski was obviously chemically cheating when Denver won the two titles, Rodney Harrison was obviously chemically cheating when NE won a Title. Merriman was obviously chemically cheating when SD won the AFC West title last year. The NE coaching staff was obviously cheating for years back, and it carried over to the NY Jets. The level of cheating is getting to the disgusting point for me, much as I view Major League Baseball since 1985.
What are the Titles and awards worth? Very questionable.
