Its time for Shanny to go. Its been 2 years now since we've made the playoffs and he missed his chance at ED REEEEEDDDD

Everyone agrees this offense has become stale and predictable. I've heard calls for the chin out of Pittsburg but I'm thinking we should really shake things up. Bring in someone who thinks outside of the box.

Offense wasnt a problem the last 5 games before Texans where we averaged 32.5 points a game. He went up against a guy that knows everything about him. BUT, he let the pupil beat the teacher.

I saw the graphic that said Denver was 5th in total yards, but 17th in points scored. I'm wondering if there was ANYBODY open except Marshall and Scheffler last night?:spit:

Has anyone ever taken just a moment to think why Denver has only had 1 losing season since 95???

Patrick Bowlen... The man spends money on his business, The old line goes "Spend money to make money" If he was not near the top in spending every year we would have had alot more bad seasons.

I think we have the best owner in the NFL ^5

Certainly, we do. I think the best owner has clearly stated his committment to Shanahan. Yes, Shanahan, the man who brought you Mr. Brandon Marshall, Jay Cutler, Tony Scheffler, and Elvis Dumerville in one draft. If people really think the team is headed downword for the next few years under Shanahan, they are fooling themselves. We have had a nice talent infusion, coupled with injuries and philosophical adjustments... in a league as competitive as the NFL, that can cause the detroit lions to lay 40+ on ya. It can also cause you to Peter North on the Chiefs. Bet your bottom dollar this sh1t will only get better.

Jason Garrett... we need to bring in a young offensive minded guy to not only add a little twist to Shanny's offense, but to get groomed for the future to replace Shanny. Shanny's system works. 32 points per game in the last 4 or 5 weeks is proof we can be explosive under the mastermind's system. We just need a few wrinkles. Bring in a young guy that has something to offer like Jason Garrett. If he was 5 or 6 years more experienced I'd say to do that with Kyle, but he's just not far enough along as a coach yet.

Calhoun would've been a nice option, but I doubt he'd want to leave AFA now.

Who are some young QB/WR/OL/etc coaches out there that can make an impact as a OC and eventually a HC? I guess I'm asking the same question all owners are asking... who is the next Mike Shanahan? The next Andy Reid? The next John Gruden? The next Mike Holmgren? The next Gary Kubiak?

For now it looks like Payton, Garrett, and Kubiak are the young offensive minded "masterminds"... but I'm sure there are more in the pipe line, I just don't pay enough attention to other teams staff to know who these guys are.

I do know that I don't want any part of Cowher and I don't want Shanny to leave on anything other than his own terms. My hope is that when he's done coaching in Denver he's done coaching for ever or he's coaching in college (like Walsh did). Kind of like seeing Shay in a Ravens uni, it just wasn't right! Seeing Shanny coaching for anybody else would be like seeing Elway buy the Chargers.

Also, you're an OG... I remember seeing your name on prehistoric online broncos stuff....like prodigy era.

I have heard other coaches' press conferences, and there are very few of them who provide the sort of authority and class that shanny does. I really liked Marty Schottenheimer in that regard, too. Anyway, it's all a moot point since our owner has got the spid3r mentality on our head coach position. God, think about going from Dick4Meal to Herm...omg, that's depressing. Let's not have that happen.

NO WHERE TO GO BUT UP FROM HERE BOYS!

Mike will right the ship, no doubt, but his defensive decisions need overhauling. How could we have ever entered the season believing that this defensive unit would 'compete'? There was some huge failed judgement, no doubt, but losing the war over one battle is never the winning attitude.

IMO, we should hire our future coach as the offensive coordinator, or defensive coordinator, and let Shanahan mentor him next year, than let him take over while Shanahan retires, or whatever he plans on doing.

Thanks Bro ..... Man Shanny has done wonders here in Denver , and when Shanny decides to hang up the whistle , we will be in deep **** ...... things didnt go our way this year , we will come out of the gates firing next year ...
Bowlen is by far the best owner in the NFL ...... I was a fan under Ed Kaiser , his 1 st concern was getting people in the stadium , but he had the forsesight to **** Al Davis out of John Elway ...... we will always owe Ed for that ;D

This draft has proven to be one of the best in franchise history. I think before this year started, we could see the rising potential in this group of players BASED ON THEIR ACTUAL PLAY. How about this years draft after 14 games? How would you rate the new DL rookies along with Harris and Young.
Marcus Thomas and Selvin Young definitely standout. Crowder and Moss, even though they saw significant playing time for rookie DL, the jury is still out. Moss needs more strength. I can't tell if Crowder is going to be anything more than average. Crowder certainly hasn't shown me as much as Elvis did in his rookie year. Please don't tell me that Ryan Harris will be anything special or he would have pushed the pathetic Pears out of the lineup. It will be interesting to see others comments.

This thought is so stupid. The offense is producing yards like crazy and this is with mostly 1st and 2nd year players... what happens with a few more players added to the mix like a couple capable offensive tackles in the mix? This offense becomes great. Yeah, lets leave that on the table.

The defense is in shambles right now but if we buy into the system, committ to the system, get players for the system, we will get better and better. You can't keep turning over systems in hopes that one takes in just a year's time. That never happens. Not in the 3-4, the 4-3, the 4-6, or any others.

We just have to keep playing with it until we get the right combination... like a rubix cube.

Give it time. We are getting closer despite this disappointing season.

After reading this I'm pretty convinced you think Shanahan has been coaching the Cardinals for the past decade and not a perennial playoff contender.
