This team is so up and down its like they are Bi-Polar. Realistically its because of the youth and missing that professionalism you can only learn. Sure the leaders can preach it but professionalism, swagger, and the ability to keep an even keel week after week is something you can only learn through experience and repetition. You form habits/ability from watching, learning, failing, and fixing. Repeat as Necessary. Thats pretty much this year for our Broncos.

The Chicago loss is whats going to kill us this year and ultimately make us miss the playoffs if we don't get the help we need. Chicago was such a bad loss that it carried over into last Sunday. The team was shell shocked still, dinged up, and just mentally not there. Looking back it wasn't surprising they collapsed in a manner that can only leave you stunned, and discouraged. So I count the Chicago loss as 2 losses b/c its what lost the Raiders game. The mistakes the team made were mostly mental.

It looks as if the team has picked themselves up rather nicely, again. KC has a decent defense. Jared, White Trash, Allen is a beast of an end. Lepsis held his own today with him rather nicely. Even got him frustrated. The line put together a good game from what I saw. I missed some parts but gleamed highlights from my Tivo.

As for Jay, he took himself up two notches today. He took a step back last week and really redeemed himself. I still can't believe that he can be running a boot and through across his body off his back foot and make it look so good. The best play that makes me think he is getting it was towards the end of the game. He looked to be throwing a screen or a short route and nothing was there. So he threw it at the feet of the RB and called it a play. He is a gunslinger and yeah he had the big lead and didn't have to try and create something but earlier this year he would have forced something.

So thats what I got. I am not getting to hi on our team as they are just not where we as fans want them. I had them going 8-8 or 9-7 this year anyways so I think they are on par with my expectations. But today was a good day to see what might just be in the future!

Man, we are going to feel every bit of those losses to Chicago, Oakland and Green Bay... all games we coulda shoulda won.

This is just the way the season has been. Too many injuries, lack of urgency and now lack of a high draft pick or the playoffs. Just that type of year folks.

Still, enjoy what we got. A great young offense moving from the crawling to walking stages of life and a sweep over the chiefs.

Yep, it's just not our year. The way SD won against both Indy and Tenn when we needed them to lose shows it too.
Still, with Cutler, this team will be in contention for the next 10+ years, kind of like Indy and NE have been.

He's got a great shot if we build around him. We shouldn't miss out on our opportunity to put great players around him this offseason. We need to add a couple OT's and a speed WR to stretch the field. Do that and we have a chance to be the best offense in football.
