Why do you think so?
Who I want verses who I think will get the nod are different at this point... But who will beat him? Romney, has been loosing ground despite a ton of money, there are many conservative folks who wont vote for someone who is LDS, not to mention how well he would fair against Hillary. With Romney there are a few things to like, but at this point a big factor is nominating someone who will not alienate some of your base --- and his faith does. He shares my faith, so I dont think I am anti LDS, just realistic. So where does the base go to? Despite what the idiots think in the left-leaning media -- Gulliani will fade as he comes in second or third in the first few states. Until Ron Paul actually gets some real numbers, and not on the Mane straw poll he will not get the nod. McCain is one of the walking dead -- and is the WORST on the border -- he killed himself on that one. Thompson had his two weeks of hype, and has since been stale, and has not spoken well.
This is very much up for grabs, but momentum is with Huckabee.
