Unfortunately, we'll probably **** this wet dream up too next week against the porous Chiefs.
13th is sweet.

Damn...the Chiefs at 8th..crap. They really need to beat us next week.
Let's put Mike Leach in at DT and give Jay the night off...let him go to another concert with Scheff or something. :)
Well, i'm fully bought into "bombing the rest of the season" idea. This team is terrible.
Thankfully Kubiak can do us a favor by knocking us off in a couple of weeks.

I would be very surprised if we win more than one of the remaining games. I don't think we have a chance in SD or in Hou which is thu night game. I am depressed to even think what Min RBs will do to our def. It could be a game in which both AD and taylor run for 150+ each?
Actually if off plays like today, we will loose against KC also. I don't think we will get any injured players back and KC's def is better than Oak. At this point it seems to me that teams will pressure cutler and load the box against run and dare him to beat them. He does not look like a finised product and with the inconsistencies in OL, receivers, i don't think he can do that. we could be in for 5-11 season and a high draft pick.
Yeah, if McFadden is still there at 4, I would be for trading up to get him.

Yeah...esp since we are right at the same spot as Houston...we definitely need to lose that game. I think Minnesota and SD will beat us, Houston goes either way and we'll prolly beat KC, which is too bad.
But yeah...we definitely need to tank.
In a perfect world, we lost out and picked like 5th or something. Then slid all the way down to like 20 and picked up a ****load of picks this year and maybe one or two for next year, too.
What I really want is two picks per round from Round 2 to Round 4. Now we already have that in the 4th, but only 1 2nd and no 3s. If we could get 6 players in that area...and that's prime area....value will definitely be there, that would be awesome.

Unfortunately folks... I think we are going to end up between 12-15.
I would love to crack the top 10, but I have a feeling we will probably beat KC and Houston.

Even 12-15 wouldn't be that bad, Dave. We could then go to the early 20s and pick up some goodies along the way.

I'm good with that... I would love to add some day one picks. So far this draft looks fairly deep (especially at OL and LB).

Hey Dave....in keeping with tradition, I assume you are going to the Dolphins in the mock draft this year, right?

As long as we're top fifteen, I'm fine.
I've said 12-15 is a realistic spot. Let us trade down and rape.

We usually rotate the Broncos so everyone has a chance at them. Slap had them last year and Clockwork Orange before then (I forgot who had them in 2005). So someone new will get them this year.
Dave actually hasnt had the Dolphins before, but its tradition that he takes the team with the worst record/first pick, so I assume that will be Miami this year.

That looks the most likely right now. As of now, we could realistically be anywhere from 6-20, depending on these last four games. 12 teams have 7 or more wins (we won't catch them), 5 have 3 or fewer wins (they won't catch us) and 15 teams have 4-6 wins.
Tiebreakers will be huge come draft day and the Broncos strength of schedule won't do them any favors, but since Houston, KC, and Minnesota are all between 4 and 6 wins, losses in any of those games could be worth several draft spots.
