I think his pass-rushing style tends to make him look a little bent over when guys get their hands on him. I also think the book on him is probably to just get your hands on him. (Not wall him off, chuck him, etc.)

So, it may not be as bad as it looks... but I've sure seen some plays where I thought there should have been flags flying.

Shanahan should be campaigning for this from the start of every game, if he's not already.

I didn't see oak game but against chi, elvis was held on almost all pass plays in first half.

The refs had to be consistent with Elvis and Stokley on that one catch too. There is probably a penalty on every play if looked at more careful. The game would last 5 hours.

Elvis got flat out tackled on the opening series yesterday. I had a feeling it was going to be one of those games when I saw that.

It's true, but that is the job of any good offensive lineman. Hold everyone on every play, just don't get caught.

The thing I like is Elvis' attitude. He doesn't whine, he just keeps the motor running. Great character from that kid. One of our few bright spots on the D-line.

I love crowder, but W wouldn't mind us trying to snag another underrated fourth round DE in this year's draft. After DT, OL, and LB.
