I just thought i'd start this thread in honor of Shannys domination of the Faide.

My favorite win was the 1996 MNF game where Elway hits Rod Smith, who beat Larry Brown, for the 49 rd TD to win the game by 1 pt in the 4th Quarter after the Faide came back and scored 2 TDs in a short span of time.

I think i might go back and watch this game now just for fun.

What are your guys favorite Shanny wins over the Faide?

I think it was the infamous monday night game where Griese was hurt... I don't remember exactly, I just remember he hit a TE (not Sharpe, who may have been in B-More that year) in OT or maybe late in the 4th for the winning TD.

Nothing real special about it but I'll go with the game in 2005 at Oakland cause I was there. That was the game the Kerry Collins floated the ball and Darrent Williams picked it off and took it for 6.

I'd have to go with that one, since it's the game where I met DS49 and the rest of the Broncos fans I hang out with now.

Yep, all of them! I remember that game Griese got hurt, he had blood down the front of his jersey. Still came out and we played solid in their black hole and won. Love the pic above, the kids just say it all!

It was the Monday night game on November 22 1999. My brother (who is a Raider fan) and I left South Dakota in a snow storm that morning and rolled his Pickup about 10 miles before Cheyenne, Wy. We did not get hurt and got a rent-a-car in Cheyenne and made it to the game about an hour before kick off.

I remember having to clean off about 4" of snow off my seat at Mile High before the game. I remember Elam had to kick a 50+ yrd FG to go into overtime and the Broncs won 27-21. After the touch down pass the Raiders were running off the feild and snowballs were raining down in the hundreds.

Lincoln Kennedy stormed the crowd just beneath us and I remember feeling sorry for the guy he got a hold of but Lincoln was taking plenty of shots from the fans. It was the best time I have ever had at Bronco game until I woke up the next day and wondered how the the hell we were getting back to SD.

Right on Brother. THat was SHanny'e first win against the raiders. THat win broke an 11 game win streak by the Raiders and that win set the tone for all furth wins to come. Plus they beat the raiders even though they were favored to win at Mile high on MNF.

THat's one of my favorite games ever.

So many to nail down with just one. I think the first one was pretty sweet. I am going back to think it was the one that we pretty much sucked and took Hosteltler to the shed (and lockerroom) for a beat down. Killed them. Next week we were back to our bad team and lost the the Chiefs but that game had soo many fights in the stands including chick fights. Not that I like to see that in the stands, it did show the Broncos fans were sick of the Raiders and ready for a new beginning. 2nd one was The trifecta Of Gold getting the block kick and recovery. Or was it a sack in the endzone and fumble/score? Whatever it was, made Gold a household name.
