I think KC can pull the upset this week. I don't know why, I just think they will. And I NEVER pull for the Chiefs.
<ducking> Let the tomato throwing and name calling begin! :bash:

Hey I agree, I hope to see Edwards put LT right on his ass

San Diego has a better run defense than the Raiders, so it will remain to be seen how Kolby Smith does this week. Now, Croyle is apparently out and Huard (the quarterback Herm wanted to bench) is back in the game. Will his head be in the game or will he be too demoralized to perform his duties? The Chiefs have the "Arrowhead" factor, but even that is not what it used to be. Barring the "any given Sunday" theory working, I don't see a way KC can win...

KC matches up pretty well against SD and Rivers struggles against them. No matter how bad the Chiefs are playing this is far from a gimme IMO, especially since Croyle is out.

Did KC stock up on Norv-Away? It might do the trick

I don't know why it would be shocking. It's a divisional matchup between two inconsistent, mistake prone teams. Not that hard to envision the home dog pulling an upset.

I think Croyle being out and Huard being given (by default) another chance could be what helps the Chiefs. Huard has to show something. And the Bolts have been so damn inconsistent this year. The only team giving it's fans as much heartburn may be the Broncos!

With Norv at the helm, everybody has a chance.

Edwards is no slouch either.

I certainly think the Chiefs have a good shot at it. The Chargers have a fragile psyche, and if they get in a hole early they'll be in trouble.

I really don't see how. The chefs keep getting worse....

KC has a pretty good Dline and can rush the passer. Unless Rivers has taken some lessons from matadors, I don't think he can sidestep Allen and whomever since he is not as mobile as many others. If KC blitzes Rivers, anything is possible. LT may or may not have a decent game.
Frankly, I didn't know anyone else other than the Broncos were playing Sunday.....

I think the real question is: Will there be enough Mullets in attendance to prevent a blackout?

If Teddy "scared to blitz" Cottrell lets Merriman and Phillips loose KC has no chance. But I dont see that happening hence anything can happen.

Both of them suck. I am still scratching my head at the 41-3 nightmare. Don't call SD inconsistent as we are the model for that.

I'm predicting LT finally has a signature game and SD wins by at least 13.
First quarter will be key. If the fans can get something to get on Rivers case about early it could get out of hand in KC's favor. Fact is Bolts never play well there so we would be happy squeeking out a close win. Don't have high expectations for this game.

Very well could be. He really has been playing like a man possessed since he's been back.

Nothing this KC team can do would shock me.
Big win. Big loss.
Who knows. It doesn't look pretty at this point though.
